Introduction

Taric, an aggressive support can do some flashy plays after his rework a while ago. HE outputs decent damage if you build him right and is a resistant tank with a great source of CC and team fight support. He is also great at dueling the ADC and support with his own ADC being shielded and healed. He requires a lot of coordination from his ADC to do extraordinary but doesn't need it to do well; He can even help without being bound to his ADC if hes a good enough player.

The Taric Creed

This is my ADC. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My armor is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master Taric.
Without me, my armor is useless. Without my armor, I am useless. I must wear my armor true. I must shield faster than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shield my ADC before he CCs me. I will…
My armor and I know that what counts in war are not the stuns we fire, the feed of our carry, nor the toxicity we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit…
My ADC is human, even as I, because they are my life. Thus, I will learn them as a brother. I will learn their weaknesses, their strength, their abilitys, their skins, their chromas and their playstyle. I will keep my armor clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will…
Before God, I swear this creed. My ADC and I are the defenders of this Rift. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until victory is beauty and there is no enemy, but peace!

Spells

Flash
is a requirement to reposition quickly or to get in range for a clutch heal or stun.

Exhaust
is a solid item to bring on Taric because it allows you to use your empowered auto-attacks to reset your stun E cooldown to stun them several times.

Ignite
is another solid item as it allows you to Ignite the enemy ADC and let your ADC take care of them while you zone or kill the enemy support.

Teleport
is great for having an ADC that can take care of them self if they get a few kills like Draven. You can be cheeky with your Teleport as you are playing Turret Siege Taric so you want to hurt those turrets as much as you can to win the game.

Barrier
is only really good if you feel like doing some early (Pre-Level 6) plays with your jungle under the enemy turrets or if you are against a damage heavy support like Vel'Koz or Zyra.

Skill Max

I max E-W-Q

Start with W so you can protect your ADC until you get Level-2

I max E first because it has no increased manacost but it increases the damage and stun duration and decreases the cooldown.

I max W second because it has more passive armor for you and the ADC

I max Q last because its the last skill and the heal isn't too much until later in the game and even then it isn't allot.

Surviving in lane

Play aggressive, If you get poked down and use all your early low manapool on healing and shielding, a jungler can easily clean you and your ADC right up. Use your passive to get stuns off frequently and try to keep the lane frozen until the enemy laner gets bored and tries to kill you then you can take them and their support as free food, OR you can engage on them with your ADC and push the tower. Your job as Taric at this point in the game is to either get your ADC kills or make them low on mana and health so you can dive them with your ult or they back so you can push the turret.

Sieging Turrets

Taric has a Great passive that allows him to really hurt with his auto attacks after he casts a spell. Taric can activate his passive continuously as long as he uses both of his empowered attacks after he uses his Q; This will reset your Q cooldown to 0 seconds and you are able to cast it again to repeat the process. This makes you do a TON of damage to turrets by itself along with other items you may be building.
