One day, at Level 5, I was gifted Thresh. I had no idea how to play him so I just built full AD with Blade of the Ruined King, Trinity Force, Infinity Edge, etc. I went 15/7 and carried the team, except that was the only time using full AD Thresh that I was ever successful. From then on, I loved the Blade of the Ruined King item, using it on Fighters, Assassin's, Tanks, Adc's, and even supports like Thresh! Then one day, Volibear was on the free champion rotation. That day I was playing as Poppy against my friend, who mained Volibear. He went 41/0 and I was immediately trying out Volibear. The first time I ever tried Volibear, I was level 8. I went 19/5 using my full AD build that I used with Thresh. At that time, I had no idea how important boots were and I just YOLO=ed and went full AD without boots. Luckily I was super fed and boots and tankiness weren't needed.

For the next few games, I levelled up super fast and I was Level 20 in no time because I kept spamming this build and stomping everyone in-game.
