Introduction
Hi guys, this is my first guide on MobaFire, and I'm not exactly sure how to make a guide but I'm gonna try anyways. :P
I've been playing

I'm level 30, but with only 170 something wins. I started my MOBA gaming experience with DOTA and then DOTA II. I joined the LoL community about half a year ago.
I hope you enjoy this guide and find it successful, and constructive criticism is always welcome.
*thanks to jhoijhoi for providing a very useful guide making guide http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/making-a-guide-101506 :)*

For reds,
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration is a really standard choice for most APCs. It essentially boosts your damage and makes your spells deadlier.
For yellows, I take Greater Seal of Replenishment. Along with 3 health pots, this gives you the needed sustain to win your lane.
For blues, this is just my preference, and I found that this works well with Fizz.
Greater Glyph of Ability Power really helps you to trade early game. Other viable choices are magic resist, and scaling AP blues.
Quints:
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power, obviously, helps your damage and scales well with Rabadon's Deathcap.

Quints:

Early on, w+q combo = easy trading, and when paired with
Playful / Trickster, you can easily harass. Of course, you take your over powered shark (
Chum the Waters)at level 6,11,and 16.

I start out with
Boots and 3
Health Potion. This gives you sustain in lane: a key factor to winning mid/top.
When you come back for the first time, buy 2
Doran's Ring and a couple of sight ward.
At 10 minutes, you should have about 75-100 farm. Rush
Sheen for the proc, and buy 2nd tier shoes ASAP.
If you're winning your lane, buy an early
Rabadon's Deathcap, but if you aren't, buy a
Lich Bane instead, for more magic resist and faster movement.
After that,
Abyssal Mask is a great choice. It gives you plenty of magic resist, and along with a lich bane, the enemy APC can do barely any damage. Also, the aura helps to shred MR or armor.
You have several options now. You can build a
Void Staff for more MR shredding, a
Guardian Angel for resurrecting, or even a
Zhonya's Hourglass. It's your choice, you will have to learn how to buy items in different situations.
