Champion Build Guide
Hi, im kingkoes05! I am 15 years old, I live in the Netherlands and I am a league player since 2014. I choose to make this guide because I really like the style of Trundle. I started playing him, because my brother got the Worldbreaker Trundle skin and I liked it. Now I am levelling my second account to level 30 to play some ranked games with him. But that is enough about me. |

King's Tribute Is a simple passive: if an enemy dies near you you restore a percent of its max health. Chomp is an empowered basic attack that deals some damage, slows the target and takes attack damage away from the enemy while you gain attack damage for 5 seconds. You max this ability first. Frozen Domain Gives you an area for 8 seconds that gives you a percentage movement speed, a percentage attack speed and a percentage increased healing. You max this second. Pillar of Ice Creates a pillar for 6 seconds that knocks enemies up and slows them. It is great to block spots in the jungle. You can also stop channels with it. Max this last. Subjugate Steals 40 percent of the enemies armor and magic resist and deals a percentage max health damage over 5 seconds. |
+ Great healthy jungle clear + Easy to learn + Good against tanks + Great solo objective taking + Good early game + Enemy's don't know how to play against you + Great duelling power |
- Low outplay potential - Just walks and stomps you to death - Bad against the meta picks - Has some really bad matchups - Falls a bit off late game - Bad engage - Need some kills to be viable |

This are your core items for the jungle. Iceborn Gauntlet and Dead Man's Plate give you a bit of cc, movement speed and health. And Blade of the Ruined King gives you a bit of duelling power. |
This are your core items for support. Locket of the Iron Solari gives you and your team a shield. Pauldrons of Whiterock is just a starter item for support and Zeke's Convergence gives some damage to your adc. |
This are your core items the Kraken Slayer build. You will grab Blade of the Ruined King for some extra duelling power. |
Plated steelcaps > ARMOR You buy Plated Steelcaps if the enemy team got a lot of attack damage. Mercury's Treads > TENACITY AND MAGIC RESIST If the enemy team has a lot of cc or a lot of ability power, you should buy Mercury's Treads. |
The situational items are depending on the enemy champions. For example Thornmail for lots of healing, Spirit Visage for lots of ap, Death's Dance for extra armor in duels. Knight's Vow is also an option for Trundle support. Guinsoo's Rageblade isn't good with Trundle but can be used in his Kraken Slayer build. You can take Divine Sunderer if you prefer that over Trinity Force, but I think Trinity Force is better as you will kill tanks easy with your Subjugate and you just get more value out of attack speed as Trundle. |
So you are playing against Wukong. Wukong will try to take some trades with Nimbus Strike to Crushing Blow and then he will end the fight with his Warrior Trickster. You can't really do anything to his trading because you will hit the Warrior Trickster. You need to focus on your own trading pattern. If he tries to go for minions, you can walk up to him and go for a quick AA Chomp AA for some damage. If he wants to trade with you after that, you can fight it because you already have some Conqueror stacks so you can win it. Against every champion you want to focus on your own trading pattern. Late you try to split, as Wukong is more a teamfighter, you will keep him away from the teamfights. |
So you are playing Trundle in a game and you come up against Teemo, because you forgot to ban him. This is what you want to do. You must play very safe until you get some ganks from your jungle. If you see that he walks up a bit too much you can try to AA and Chomp for a quick Grasp of the Undying trade. In the midgame you can win from Teemo in a 1v1 and you will try to splitpush the rest of the game. |
Trundle Jungle | As Trundle Jungle you will start your clear on the bottom side of the map. If you start at the blue you take blue> gromp> wolves> red> scuttle. If you start at the red you will take red> wolves> blue> gromp> scuttle. You won't take the raptors in your first clear as it takes so long to kill them. If the dragon spawns you can check if your botlane has the priority and you can even take dragon solo. In the mid and endgame you will play in teamfights around objectives, or you will just clear your jungle if there is no objective up. |

I like this Trundle because you don't need to be very good at the game to succeed with him. I do think his kit is a bit outdated and belongs in the old League of Legends. As you can only walk and have no ranged abilities/dashes and he doesn't really have great cc either. | I would love to see a rework for Trundle he just feels so weak in the current meta. Trundle reminds me of the old Warwick. I liked the old Warwick a lot but he just ran around like Trundle and I think they did a great job with the Warwick rework. So I would like to see the same for Trundle. |
Bye,
