~~Why Tristana?~~

-Tristana is incredibly resourceful champion, with one of the highest attack speeds and longest dashes in the game and also incredible damage output, she is one of the best AD Carry champions in any given patch. There was not to date a period longer than 3 patches in which Tristana was not a decent pick. Not the strongest maybe, but always viable. To me, very interesting to play and full of possibilities. Her passive is excellent for wave clear, Q an amazing attack speed buff, W one of the longest dashes in the game with a reset on takedown, E with another excellent wave clear and tower destroyer but also killing potential against champions, and her ult (R) for that final spark of damage and gap close, perfect for disengage from that annoying melee champ that keeps ganking you... What else can I say?



~~Why My Guide?~~

-Well, I'm neither a challenger nor a grandmaster, nor I have 1.000.000 mastery on Tristana.... But I do have about 6 years of experience in League of Legends and 200k mastery on her. Other than that, ADC has been my main role for a long long time, having several ADCs at mastery 7 or 6, but still the highest on one and only Tristana. I've made this guide with help of high ranking players (2 challenger players who's names I cannot state for information security) and also looking up stats, other people's builds and winrates of those to come up with one that works just fine without actually copy-pasting another man's guide... That said, I think this guide does a pretty good job at showing what Tristana is and how you should approach to that pick. It's honestly a pain, often, choosing runes for Tristana. Why? Because many are valid, you could use Lethal Tempo, Press the Attack, Fleet Footwork or Hail of Blades all in the same patch, with all 4 working. But, some still work better.

-Fleet Footwork: stacks good with her poke build (Stormrazor+Firecannon) and gives you some lane sustain, but overall is usually outclassed by Lethal Tempo, Press the Attack and Hail of Blades as they provide great amounts of damage output.

-Lethal Tempo: Excellent rune, but still not really meta at the moment. Why? Well it has been outclassed by Hail of Blades as it works better now with the new builds, simple. You could still make some decent builds with Lethal Tempo, especially using Hurricane+Inf Edge+Kraken Slayer.

-Press the Attack: It worked, it still works. In trades, go for that E + 3AA and all should be fine.

-Hail of Blades: Stacks perfectly with her E and Q, making your bursts incredible, so instead of having constant supply of medium damage, you get a burst that will make your engage a lot more successful.
