Hi! I'm Fottotex, good Polish Teemo main on EUNE. I'm playing League of Legends for 3 years now (maybe 2 years, because 1 year was like a few games).
My experience with Teemo is on a high level, and I can teach you how to play him properly.
I have to recommend playing Teemo, because he's a very fun champion to play with in League overall. That's why I decided to main him.
Pros:
- great lane bully
- easy to play
- great vision from
mushrooms
- you can go various builds (AP, AD and sometimes Tank)
- easy to tilt enemies
- fits in all team comps
Cons:
- really easy to kill overall
- countered by CC
- no synergies
Teemo is a champion which you can choose many runes depending on a matchup, and I will tell you what to pick against champions.

PTA is the strongest rune for Teemo, but of course it's not always good like the other runes. Choose this rune against
Akali,
Dr. Mundo,
Mordekaiser,
Yone,
Fiora,
Gnar,
Tryndamere,
Illaoi,
Renekton,
Irelia,
Shen,
Jax,
Yasuo,
Camille,
Garen,
Graves,
Gwen,
Kayle,

I can show you, a few items which you can build, that are very important to the Teemo playstyle.

Buy this when you use recall for the first, second or the third time depending on your situation. Build this against
Mordekaiser,
Lillia or
Malzahar. Build
Silvermere Dawn as a last item. This item helps you against CC and Mordekaiser's ultimate and this is why that item is great against them.

Really great item especially against long range champions or poke. Buy this against
Viktor,
Twisted Fate and
Caitlyn. This item gives you 100 range on charged shot. It's great for poking the unpokable. Build this as a first item.

Why would you go boots on start? Because in certain matchups, where you are playing against champions with enhanced speed, pulling or dashes. Buy this against
Darius,
Sett,
Aatrox,
Sion and
Ornn.

Teemo has a really great laning phase, because he can bully and cheese level 1. If you have easy matchups against mages. start with cheesing, because they have long cooldowns. You can use this against champions who have similarly long cooldowns, not only mages. On decent matchups try to poke and farm, but if enemy is scared of you, try to punish him. On hard matchups, try to poke if it's possible, and play safe. Try to level up first on start and bully enemy. After leveling up to level 6 you can try to all in, because ignite on level 6 is very strong. If you pushed minions to enemy tower, you can deep ward or roam mid if possible.
If you are fighting, you can plant shrooms on a minions or under your champion to deal more damage against enemy.

After destroying the enemy turret you should roam, get objectives and destroy other turrets, meanwhile you need to protect your turret. Try to solo kill enemies by camping or roaming. Plant shrooms on the map for vision and some sort of damage. Most important thing is to destroy second turrets and be in the teamfights.
In late game solo kill enemies and teamfight. Try to end the game, when the most important objective is up and all enemies are on it.
Tips that are important.
1. Use shrooms as a vision.
2. You can flash in bushes, without showing yourself, and you can use it as an distraction.
3. Hide in a spot, where enemy is not seeing you, and when he comes to farm kill him.
This chapter is about complex knowledge, for players who have a better understanding of the game, and the meta.
Teemo is a champion that you can build whatever you want, but of course everything is not good on him. You can go AD on Teemo, but why would you, when he has no AD scallings? This doesn't matter, because Teemo is a hybrid and ranged champion, and with AD Teemo, you can carry your team, but it's not worth going it every match, because AD Teemo is playable in certain matchups, like against tanks or when your team has not enough AD. AD Teemo scales harder, because AD is better later than AP. AP Teemo scales faster, but later he will not do so much damage as AD.
Items for AD Teemo:
You can go Tankmo but it's not worth it. Play this if you want fun on normals.
Teemo usability in the teamcomps may vary, because of his
blind and
shrooms. Blind is really important against ADC, and if you blind ADC, you have bigger chance to win a teamfight. He's not always good in teamfights, but it's a good idea to shroom the battlefield.
