Hello PikachuGoneWild here, I am a jungle main diamond solo que player and today I will be sharing with you my first guide I have written and it is on one of my favorite jungle champions! Wukong! He is a bruiser/assassin jungle and can be tons of fun to play!

Flat ad quints, Flat ad Reds, Armor yellows to help you clear and survive camps, and flat Magic resist blues to help you against enemy AP champions, these runes help give you good early damage for faster clearing in your jungle, along with good deal of damage for early ganks/ trades.

This is my standard offensive jungle 21-9-0 mastery page, with as much AD and attack speed as possible with full on damage, Wukong in the jungle you generally want to build full offensive, or an off tank build, given the new jungle changes Wukong has become a "carry" jungler and this is in my opinion the most suitable mastery page in order to do so!

No doubt in my mind for jungle wukong you definitely NEED smite, and my personal choice is flash, I have seen others take ignite for the 1v1 kill potential, but I do not reccomend for I think Wukong is more of a team fighter 5v5 situation, then a 1v1 duelist. He also has his decoy but can easily be countered by a pink ward and abilities that can grant vision, and his only gap closer is his nimbus strike but can only lock onto minions or enemy champions.


Flash is essential on almost all junglers, except for those who benefit from ghost (Hecarim, Olaf). You can use this to re-position yourself in a team fight if he's taking too much damage, or to even get in range to cast some spells, or even juking spells like ultimates. But mostly you'll need flash over ghost just because of the overall utility of flash as you can hop walls and juke skill shots and to get away from sticky situations.

Wukong in ranked play is possibly one of the best junglers at the moment, the factor that he adds in 5v5 team fights is huge with his ult cyclone. Mid to late game wukong can shred squishy targets with his few core items with good follow up from your teammates his ult can change any losing fight into a winning one! take advantage of the knock up and the armor shred his ult can over by stacking over time!

Pros:

Good clear times with Nimbus Strike
Great for 5v5 scenarios
great at contesting/defending objectives
great at 2v2 and skirmishes
great counter ganker

Cons:

No real cc pre level 6
kind of weak 1v1 other junglers pre 6

Wukongs clear in the jungle is pretty effective due to the fact that his Nimbus Strike can hit up to 3 creeps at a time and once he gets his core item Spirit of the Elder Lizard makes his sustain/clear pretty quick and mana effective. Its always a good idea to pick up a Health Potion or two for teamfights or even ganks/ objectives.

Wukong in 5v5 situations with his ultimate is huge and can help turn losing fights into winning ones or just help win fights and control objectives all together.

Wukong is a bruiser/assassin jungle, I feel hes a very strong season 4 jungler and he is good in every point of the game. His damage is high and he's got great scaling while being super tanky at the same time. He's a very good team fighter and his kit makes him a bruiser while making him an assassin too (with the stealth). He can also carry a game with his damage and he can also make the juke plays. I like him a lot because of how much damage he outputs and his ultimate is one of the best in the game at the moment with the jungle items helping him out. he excels in 5v5 team fights and can change a fight at any given point with his ultimate.
