Alright, I see you want to play assassin Darius. Now this is not an easy task because this works very well for a fed Darius. I do not recommend you try this build unless you are fed, or ahead in terms of levels or gold compared to the other champions in the game. If you are not familiar with darius, I recommend that you check other guides out and try tank darius before attempting this build.

I chose phase rush so that you can catch up to your enemy after your combo, especially if it ends with your q, which may leave you behind them. Nimbus cloak so you can catch others after your ult execution. Absolute focus for that easy early damage and cheese, and lastly gathering storm so you don't completely fall off late game. Normally Darius falls off if you build damage on him, but the gathering storm supports this damage and puts Darius up with the other assassins. Triumph and Coup de Grace are perfect for getting very fed and not dieing, it really helps early game especially if the enemy decided to take ignite as well.


For the Conquerer runes, these are the standard choice for Darius as they exploit his damage even more. Aclarity is taken because of the extra attack speed. Gathering Storm is an option for the secondary, instead of absolute focus or nimbus cloak, it all depends on your playstyle and the enemy team.


As for the extras, Take attack speed, extra ad and some armor, which is the best for an early assault on the enemy.

In this build, Darius becomes an assassin, so don't even think about going in a 1v5 and wondering why you got bursted. I have gotten a quadra kill with this build before, but the main purpose of this build is to burst others, it does not make you tanky.

Do your best to get first blood or get ahead in the lane. Darius is a lane bully, and everyone is scared of him because of his passive, so maximise that chance. Whenever the enemy laner comes to take cs, walk up to him and AA, and if he doesn't back off, keep AA him until he is low on hp, then begin you're combo to execute him.

The combo for Darius is the same as always, just start by auto attacking them and if they try to run away you can use e, q, or both. Make sure you add you're w in there as well so they don't get away. (Your w is an auto attack reset).

Later in the game you won't need to do anything, 1 w will probably be enough to destroy squishies.

Early Combo sequence (Lvl 2)
AA -> E -> Q
(Auto as much as you can before they start to run)

Normal Combo
E -> AA -> W -> Q -> AA
(This will proc phase rush and allow you to auto them again and get Noxian Might)
Execution:
Normal Combo + R
(This can be used any time when the r is enough to kill the enemy, remember it deals TRUE damage)

Remember, later on you will not need to follow combos, but rather use initiative. If you are low on hp and running away, a Q can be the ability to use.
