Lee Sin's backstory
Lee Sin¢ï¿½ï¿½s talents were so promising that the League was willing to overlook the incident, but he could never forgive himself. He left the Institute and journeyed to the Shojin Monastery for eternal repentance, swearing never to practice magic again. Years later, hoping to atone for his crime with martyrdom, he set himself ablaze as a protest of the Noxian occupation of Ionia. He remained alive in this state, enduring searing agony for weeks. His actions paved the way for a League match wherein Ionia prevailed, but by the time he was doused, his eyes had been burned completely from their sockets. Hailed as a savior, he was reborn, and his will to act invigorated. He joined the League of Legends to continue his atonement with sweat and blood, a true monk¢ï¿½ï¿½s only possessions.
"The actions of one may sunder the world, but the diligence of many may rebuild it." ¢ï¿½ï¿½- Lee Sin
The protest
The events leading up to the Ionia vs Noxus rematch started when Lee Sin, a monk from the Shojin Monastery, set himself on fire within the Ionian Lotus Garden. He would not allow anyone to put out the flames until the three regions of Southern Ionia were freed from Noxus' occupation.[1] Lee Sin remained in this state of excruciating pain for over two months. After Ionia won their rematch against Noxus, he was greeted by his sister from the now liberated Southern provinces. Only then did Lee Sin allow the flames to be extinguished. Though his brethren swiftly brought the monk back to the monastery for treatment, he had already suffered the loss of his eyes due to the intense heat
[*] Lee Sin's name may possibly be a homophone of the English word "listen", which means "to understand from sound".
[*] Lee Sin's self-immolation from the lore is likely a reference to the real life monk who set himself on fire as an act of protest against the persecution of Buddhist monks in South Vietnam.
[*] Lee Sin very closely resembles the character Yang Fang Leiden from Final Fantasy IV. Both characters are monks and feature hand to hand combat with a "kick" based move and defensive guarding move in their arsenal.
[*] Lee Sin is the only champion to feature two champion spotlights, a real one and a fake one for April Fool's.
[*] Lee Sin is the first champion to use energy that is not a ninja.
[*] Lee Sin is voiced by David Wenham, who played Dilios in the movie 300. (Your will is my hands)
[*] Lee Sin is the second champion to have access to 7 different abilities - the first one being
Nidalee.
[*] Lee Sin is the first champion to receive buffs via hotfix and the fourth champion to be hotfixed. The other three champions:
LeBlanc,
Pantheon, and
Udyr.
[*] Lee Sin is the first monk type champion announced but the third to be released after
Udyr and
Vladimir

"Master yourself, master the enemy." - Lee Sin
Hello and welcome to Had's build for "Lee Sin, The Blind Monk" Before I start talking about the guide i would like to say something about his name and general contents.
This guide's name was larely inspired by Apotheosis's "Your Tryndamere Resource" and wRAthoFVuLK's "Your AP Katarina Du Couteau Resource (dont play with knives)"
I wrote few guides and they all went average, but i finnaly decided to evolve and write something that will really HELP the Lee Sin newbies and show his potential strenghts and weaknesses - like in the two guide mentioned above...
Also as Apotheosis suggested I'm gonna make a "Troll Vote" section to show which votes got me lower rating
Comment to vote, and don't just give votes randomly it pisses someones hours and hours of work
Pros
-Lower HP enemy has

-Has 2 dash abilities

-Has 2 CC abilities

-If wanted to his passive/trigger can be turned to non-stop passive with correct sill timing
-Utility - Possibilities are ENDLESS
-He's bald
Cons
-Can die?
-CC or lack of ally/enemy dash targets can make him easy pray but CC bots will help
-He's bald (Yeah it's a pro and a con)

After Lee Sin uses an ability, his next 2 basic attacks gain 50% Attack Speed and return 15 energy each.

Resonating Strike: Lee Sin dashes to the enemy hit by Sonic Wave, dealing physical damage plus 10% of their missing health.
[*] Cost: 60/40 energy
[*] Cooldown 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 seconds

Safeguard: Lee Sin rushes towards a target ally, shielding them both from damage. If a shield is broken, half the energy cost is returned. After using Safeguard, Lee Sin can cast Iron Will for the next 3 seconds.
Iron Will: Lee Sin's intense training allows him to thrive in battle. For 5 seconds, Lee Sin gains lifesteal, spell vamp, and armor.
[*] Cost: 60/40 energy
[*] Cooldown: 8 seconds
[*] Bonuses: Shield Strength: 40 / 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 (+0.8 per ability power).

Yeah's

Exaust Good for taking down they carry's, like u will do, and making those Auto attacking 1000 critting dudes worthless
Maybe's

Noe's
I'll just give few for example

All the others are meh like those two... u decide
Greater Mark of Desolation
Greater Quintessence of Desolation
--OR--
Greater Quintessence of Health
Those two (Mark's and Quint's) are kinda most important to me..
U can also take
Greater Seal of Evasion and
Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction if u have money to spend
ArP is most awesome thing for Lee cuz since u are maxing HP at 1st early on dmg with those runes will be insane! mark my words "INSANE" (yeah just like Shaco the Insane)

Early game
Here u start off with a

1st trip back take

Mid Game
As I already noted u have 2 dashes and 2 CC so gank ALOT!!! Every time see a half HP champion wondering around - GO GET HIM TIGER
Lee is strong at all the stages, but i preffer OWNING as him in mid game <3 . Now u have ur boots and phage so start roaming aroun the map clearing undefended lanes and assassinating, cuz that is the best u do. Next grab another

Late Game
Here your item build should look like this

But ur core SHOULD look like this

So, late game is most dangerous stage for Lee and maybe the weakest... try to gank, gank, gank and push, push, push with ur team... Finish 2 reamining items

and there u have about - 4500 HP, 120/5 HP regen, 250 dmg, 120 armor and u ROCK....
[*] IMPORTANT NOTE :
If u play good u will probably finish Atma's in the begining of Late which will open path for new items
So from there on u will have 2 empty item slots reday to be filled. Before i start explaining anything u moust get along with something: Guide is not a bible, different teams require different measures. So i made our core really flexible and good to counter all teams, but from here u can do as u want... I'll just give u few ideas:
1. Balanced game/u are losing-Heavy Caster Team: For last two i would take

2. U are winning-Heavy Caster Team:

3. Balanced game/u are losing-Heavy Physical DPS (melee or ranged doesn't matter):

4. U are winning-Heavy Physical DPS (melee or ranged doesn't matter):

5. Balanced game/u are losing-Balanced Team:

6. U are winning-Blanced Team:

.....

Tempest

So this has nothing to do with the guide.
It's just a tip or a pray to u:
Do NOT test champions on ranked game.
Do NOT test build on ranked game.
Do NOT play ranked game when u aren't in a mood for playing LoL.
Do NOT enter ur friend account and play(fail) ranked (yeah happened to me)
So pls follow this rules to enchance urs and other's ranked ELO - I preety much hitted ranked testing champions as soon as i got lvl 30, and guess what? RUINED MY ELO!!! So now i wait for season 2 to start and ELO to, hopefully, be reseted so i can get somewhere....
