Yea I always tell people this xD

Actually Adonikam, I'd have to disagree.
Using Phantom Dancer as an example:
I'm Ashe, I have an Infinity Edge and I want to increase my critical strike. Critical strike in Phantom Dancer comes mostly from Cloak of Agility. So, I'm noob, I'll buy Cloak of Agility over Zeal.
But wait.
A guide on MobaFire tells me to buy Zeal first and explains why.
I see, Cloak of Agility *does* increase critical strike, however, we want the movement speed and the attack speed of Zeal before the increased critical strike.
Thanks Mr. Guide Writer.
Would you saying specifying: B. F. Sword Black Cleaver is a bad idea? What about philosopher's stone shurelya's revirie? Or catalyst the protector Banshee's Veil? Heart of Gold randuim's omen? kage's pick Deathfire Grasp?
With regards to Elixirs, I don't know what so awful about putting them into the build. The two that are most relevant to Ashe I've included at the end.
EDIT: Your Akali guide includes Elixirs...

yea it's good for certain things, but too much just gets out of hand when it isn't needed and pretty obvious (aka boots of speed RIGHT before upgraded boot)

Yeah, I understand that, obvious things shouldn't have to be mentioned like that (boots directly before upgraded), but I see no problem with Zeal Phantom Dancer or Mana Manipulator Soul Shroud.
^^

no you don't understand what I'm talking about, I mean why put Zeal then PD when you can just put PD? I have elixers rated in order of preference actually
As I said, noobs might get Cloak of Agility because they have 880 gold, instead of waiting extra time for the money you need for Zeal. In the case of Boots berseker's greaves - yeah, that's unnecessary, just put Berserker's Greaves.
But when an item is made up of many components, it might be beneficial to state the most important one before the final product. Like Mana Manipulator to Soul Shroud because your guide talks about getting the Mana Manipulator but doesn't mention the Kindlegem.
Maybe Duff put his Elixirs in order of preference too?
If a guide says: Regrowth Pendant Faerie Charm philosopher's stone Kindlegem Shurelya's Battlesong, then fair enough, that's ridiculous.
It could be cut down to: Regrowth Pendant philosopher's stone Shurelya's Battlesong.
EDIT:
Also, Zeal goes into two items, Phantom Dancer and Trinity Force. In the case of Trinity Force, saying Zeal Trinity Force shows the reader that the attack speed and movement speed is more beneficial to this hero than the slow from Phage or the proc from Sheen.

Yea I was just gonna say that, but I think what Adonikam means is EVERY thing,
like Scepter BF BT, just say BF BT or just BT
EDIT: exactly what I was thinking ^

For example I've seen builds that go . The worst offender is DuffTime >=(.
Why would you do that it's just messy and annoying to read.
Same goes for Elixers after builds, it doesn't make you look pro.
