My screen glitched out on this game so I had two mini-maps once of which appeared on my 2nd monitor, but the game thought that the screen extended out onto the 2nd monitor so if I tried to click the mini-map on my main monitor I would just move like I was clicking on the ground. Very disconcerting.

I didn’t do as well against Illaoi as I thought I would. You can’t really get at her in her tentacle nest and F some of those tentacles are hard to target. I think attack click will do it, but I’ll have to try the match up again to be sure. Volibear helped me secure a couple of kills on her. For some odd reason it felt like I didn’t have any AD as I had a terrible time last hitting. Maybe it was due to the screen bugginess as the game felt sluggish to me.

We got ahead and stayed ahead.

Runes: Atk Dmg, Arm, MR, Atk Dmg
Masteries: 12-0-18

Summary:

Someone on the other team took my Trundle so they had to pay. Trundle was tasty. Though I needed some help from Kindred to dinnerfy him. They asked me to go tanky Tahm Kench so I did. Problem is they were always getting into fights without me there and they couldn’t dodge Veigar’s Event Horizon so they all were just getting instantly deleted or low enough that Tristana could get reset after reset.

Not my finest game either, as I accidentally pathed myself into a Veigar and Amumu coming around the corner at river. And I failed to eat Caitlyn once when she stepped into Event Horizon. Actually it was a little more like an impending car wreck. I knew she was going to walk into the stun and just watched in horrified fascination as she really did it. Like actually got too close to a fed Veigar. Not smart. Oh and there was the forgetting to take my R off of smart cast so I went all of one Teemo before popping back up. That may or may not have cost us a dragon as they finished it off pretty quickly thereafter.

We were just too disorganized on this one and not able press our advantage when we had it however briefly.

Demoted again. Sad day. Early Draven killed Kalista. I got Fiora a kill, got Kassadin some breathing room vs Talon, got Bot lane a double kill. And it wasn’t enough. Draven claimed to be a platinum smurf in chat later. Regardless, we couldn’t deal with his damage, despite having only to itemize against AD.

Match History

Uhh, so if you take out Twisted Fate’s deaths the score line looks a little better.

Highlights for me, were solo killing Ryze as soon as I hit 6th level. Dr. Mundo tried to gank a couple of times, but they were pretty anemic. Though I think we did manage to murderize Ryze on the 3rd try.

Teleported Bot and though I didn’t personally get any kills, I was enough of a distraction that Graves picked up two kills despite almost being dead and we got the Bot outer turret.

But LeBlanc could pretty much delete anyone she wanted to at will so were almost always down a person.

I need to decide if I can build damage after getting a kill. I went Mercury's Treads early to try and mitigate Ryze’s permastun via Rune Prison but I might have been better off just going Tiamat and doing my best to kill him and snowball myself.

We won this by getting ahead early game. Because mid-late game we weren’t team fighting right at all with people going off in 2s and 3s to siege.

Match History

Talon was destroying Mid and had some good roams. Despite this we couldn’t seem to team fight very effectively so we kept getting killed when trying to take objectives. I felt a little off my game. But we managed to keep plugging away despite not team fighting as well as the enemy team and eventually got enough picks to roll over their base to take their Nexus.

Match History

Silver 3 again. Tried the Enchantment: Warrior and Youmuu's Ghostblade build out on Nocturne and focused on deleting squishies. Seemed fairly effective, though we were doing well in the majority of our lanes, despite having a double ADC comp for our Bot lane.

I felt a bit mana starved without a Hunter's Potion. May have to limit my usage of Unspeakable Horror when clearing jungle camps early. That was starting Krugs > Raptors > Red > Blue > Gromp which is all I could manage starting 3 Health Potions + Hunter's Machete and running 18-12-0 and Atk Dmg + Arm + 6 CDR + 3 sCDR + 3 Atk Spd quints. It may be also be that Atk Spd marks and Quints are a better way to go.

Match History

Early laning was a bit rough. Taking a snare is ouch with the Lux and Graves combo. But Blitzcrank kept landing Lux in my lap so I was able to get ahead. We comboed Blitzcrank abilities and The Package well to get even further ahead. Ezreal was just mowing them down, so we were generally fighting with a least a one person advantage which made things relatively easy.

Match History

Nocturne is good for deleting Soraka, which is good for making sure team fights have a better chance of going you way. Pantheon killed Gnar early and then died to him at least twice thereafter. I ganked from a little too far out for Panth to help though I dd bypass a ward in the river bush that way. I’ve found that I like Nocturne into Ahri the two times I’ve played the match. Yes, she is still hard to gank if Spirit Rush is up, but Shroud of Darkness is good for defusing Charm.

I need to remember to save my Smite for ganking after my clear speed gets decent enough.

I’ve been starting Stealth Ward to start and then getting a Sweeping Lens after I back to clear wards to help set up ganks and deny vision generally, then later in the game switching out to a Farsight Alteration in order to maximize ward coverage.

Having a weird issue were everyone looks like they are already gone from the lobby when I get in there (Mac client).

Now the internets don’t want me to be in Silver 3, sigh. Connection is normally not an issue, but tonight, DCd from champion select once and then from the last ?7? min of this game. Argh. Was playing with abnormally high ping the whole game too. -19 LP in total due to connection issues, though I think we would have lost this one anyway as their Ezreal and Karma combo was dumpstering our Bot lane and we were pretty much losing across the map. I can only assume our team FFd once I DCd as I was the only on on them team doing somewhat decent.

Guessing that ranked is not a good idea at the moment. Frustrating when you've played a couple of games during the day with no issues. I even tested out my connection in a custom game after I DCd from champion select to make sure I could log into a game and my ping was okay.

Good individual players on our team. Made life pretty easy. I helped bot lane work over their lane opponents and stymied a couple of Nunu & Willump’s ganks making sure they kept their lead.

Made a dragon call that sort of turned out poorly. I felt like we had plenty of time to do it, but it turns out that we didn’t, so that cost us a few deaths.

Still enjoying wailing on targets with Trundle.

Note: Apparently Cho'Gath is a decent pick into Rammus top.

Also I found it very confusing that they had a Rammus and a Nunu. I kept thinking that their jungler was holding top lane so I could go invade his jungle, which is how I sussed out a couple of Nunu's ganks. XD

Thought Brand was mid and wanted a way to delete him. so I opted for Nocturne over Trundle. They were squishy enough overall that I felt like it was a decent choice regardless. Did of mix of deleting everyone. Overall the game was looking somewhat grim early game. Yasuo calls mid or feed in champion select. That almost made me DC right there. Total ******** to let trolls dictate the game that way, especially ranked. No leash from Blitzcrank and Blitz immediately roams to mid so I follow him over there even though I had only done one camp. He took his sweet *** time doing anything so I wandered off so as not to get overly behind. They eventually got Azir but not before Lucian and Brand first blooded Vayne. Gnar took a dump on Vladimir and was generally a pain in the butt the whole game. Vayne and Blitzcrank mostly got dumped on. Fortunately Yasuo was actually good at Yasuo and Blitz asked him to come to Bot lane. He and I teamed up for a double kill to even things out again. Then we just started winning most of the small skirmishes and were able to take objectives off of that.

I screwed up once when I went onto Brand and Azir had a turret set up behind their position. I thought I could get in and out quickly enough to kill Brand and not die, but such was not the case.
