I almost never, ever buy [[mercury's treads]] unless everyone on the other team has heaps of hard CC, and by playing [[tristana]] from lvl 1-30 exclusively, I really don't find the need to buy [[mercury's treads]]. The attack speed granted from [[berserker's greaves]] is a great asset for any AD carry IMO, and in fact, I find that the 25% attack speed it gives you benefits you throughout the whole game.
