Hi people,

I wonder what you think is/are the worst item(s) in the game.

Personally I think:

Ionian Boots of Lucidity. Really terrible item when you compare it to all the other items that give CDR, and with all the other boots.
Cloak and Dagger. We already have Mercury's Treads, so what do we need this for?
Eleisa's Miracle. See Cloak and Dagger.
Executioner's Calling. I have never seen anyone buy this, and I have played like 1200 games.
Leviathan. See Executioner's Calling.
Moonflair Spellblade. See Cloak and Dagger.
Sword of the Occult. See Executioner's Calling.
Tiamat. When is splash damage ever useful? Perhaps in laning phase when farming, but for the rest it just sucks.

In my opinion those items are completely useless, let me know what you think! :)

Ionian Boots of Lucidity : These boots are support's boots. It's great on them, since they don't need MagPen, +3 speed, etc.

Cloak and Dagger, Eleisa's Miracle, Moonflair Spellblade : Good in certain circonstances. Let's say you play Kassadin, you won't get, of course, mercs thread. Why? Because you need MagPen too much. So, if the enemy team has a lot of CC and tend to CC-lock you a lot, getting Spellblade is a good choice

Executioner's Calling : I lol'd. This is THE item to kill Swain, Dr. Mundo, Vladimir and AD Sion. Pardon me, but I don't believe you played 1200 games without seing one, or you only play normals.

Leviathan, Sword of the Occult : Just like Mejai, these are stacking items, win big-lose big, AKA **** items. But, if you,re doing extremely well, they can be good. You probably never saw a Pantheon full Occult stack or an Amumu with full Leviathan stack.

Tiamat : People don't understand how OP this item is on certain champion, like Twitch. His ulti procs Tiamat, so it's just ******ed how much damage it does. Tiamat is also INSANE on Nasus, sicne it procs Siphoning Strike. You guys need to open your eyes on this item, and how strong it can be in certain situation. The bad part is, that you need 2 of them so they can be really useful. Another great point of this item is that it's not expensive at all for the stats it gives. It's also great on Xin Zhao since it procs 3 Talon Strike's damage (not the pop in the air, just the damage)

Chalice of Harmony This is a good item on certain support who are mana hungry (Like Kayle for exemple). It's not great on other champions IMO.

Except stacking items (Mejai, sword of the occult and Leviathan), I don't believe theres any ''bad'' item. Most LoL items are situational. You need to adapt your build to the enemy team. Always.

+rep me and you'll get good karma, wich means you won't be reincarnated into a rock! Isn't that awesome?

But yes this idea has been discussed more than Pam Anderson's tits in a plastic surgeons office.

This is really a battle between Sword of the Occult and Tiamat.

ALL the other items can be useful. Even Leviathan if you're confident in your tanking prowess, and I have seen them all used effectively before.
All the tenacity items, including Cloak and Dagger and Eleisa's Miracle have seen usage - Being able to give up Mercury's Treads for other boots with more useful damage/casting stats is a great niche to have in your strategy.

Occult is bad because of its low AD values, and useless max-stack bonus (the movement speed really isn't too amazing compared to CDR or damage-reduction)

Tiamat really doesn't get any use unless it's for fun.

Mejai's Soulstealer, Leviathan and Sword of the Occult are all pretty bad imo, don't like them at all.
Have also never seen anyone buy Haunting Guise but I'm not sure whether the actual item is bad.

Haunting Guise is awesome early game, just like Wriggle's Lantern. By late game, you WILL sell it for something better.

I've seen Elementz use it on Taric in lanes where he needs a lot of healing, before. Doubt it's as useful now because of the ult change.

@Fox
Haunting Guise, on the other hand, gives nothing unique like Wriggle's. Wriggle's has a unique proc and unique passive, not seen on any other item - not to mention that Life Steal is a very sought after stat for non-Bloodthirster builds. For a Haunting Guise you can almost get a NLR though, which does as much, if not more, than a Haunting Guise, doesn't require them to have more MR than your MPen to be really useful, and builds into things.

Indeed, it is actually not bad on him. A friend of mine also had some games with Cho'Gath using it (1 v 2 top), but he has by now taken it out of his build since he learned to use his mana in a more efficient way.

True, but who keep Wriggles when he has full build? Everyone will sell it to finish his build, since the stats it gives aren't great on a 50min game ^^' Haunting guise is awesome early game, especially if you play burst champ (like annie and veigar) with MagPen runes. Haunting guise + 19 MagPen from runes + sorceres shoes = 60 MagPen, wich is A LOT early game. Usually, people say Haunting guise for Void Staff or Abyssal Scepter
