The core item build is just an example of oridinary build on which can be build in any situation aginst most laners. DFG is a really offensive choice and yo ucannot go for that if you ahven't enough money to afford that purchase due to being bullied in lane or camped by jungler. So it's not "core".

and is the real "core" of a build yo ucan0t skip them and they synergize extremely well with your needs. is really good right afetr, but it's expensive and has no real upgrade in msot game you maye want to rush , or , instead still a great early pick agaisnt any lane opponent.

Try to not push too much the lane or he'll sit under tower. Every time you'll try to [Siphon of Destruction]] him you'll get silenced by Feral Scream. Get Sorcerer's Shoes as soon as possible in order to increase your chances to dodge Rapture. Look for jungler help to win the lane. Beware to engage him in a melee fight his Vorpal Spikes hit hard.

Thansk for this comment and the very in-deapg reading of the guide. If you find any mroe error I'd be glad to correct them. Most errors are caused by my distrations so It's really helpfull to have someone to notew and reprot them

Diana is actually the tankier assasin you can ever find due to Zhonya's Hourglass and Abyssal Mask combined with Pale Cascade.
Elise is a tank no question about it. You can play her AP, but it's not as effective as a CDR tank.
Evelynn is a bruiser, while she can still be played as an assasin she really shines as a tanky assassin which distrupt enemy lines and tanks a big chunck of damage owe to Agony's Embrace.
Fizz is an assasin. OK (Fixed)
Galio's AP depends on his MR so if he has his MR reduced under 0 his AP bonus will be negative.
Karma is not a brusier. OK (Fixed)
Karthus is not a bruiser. OK (Fixed)
Kassadin actually is a tank secondary he's an assasin, but yes his Q doesn't silence anymore (Updated).
Orianna is not a bruiser. OK (Fixed)
Ryze is a ******* tank due to mana items being defense based ( Rod of Ages, Archangel's Staff, Frozen Heart,...).
Swain is a tank due to Ravenous Flock his tanky build path ( Zhonya's Hourglass, Rod of Ages,...).

As weak early Mid laner needs survivability and doesn't offers a lot of it anymore... ofc it's block is really a great passive since any ranged Mid laner will be auto attacking you and the 6 Health regen isn't that bad, but 3 more pots are a lot more reliable than a for very early game.

It will not even be enough to balance your Health costs on so in my opinion if you aren't goign to get a perfect cs score and back as soon as you get 1200 gold it's a really risky start. Just my opinion tho.

These are your start options:

1) is the best start since gives you survivability and a little more chance to dodge skilshiots and avoid ganks with the MS bonus, in addition it makes your build path faster since you can rush right after .

2) is a great start when you're going to face AD laner and jungler. You can upgrade it into . The five pot and Armor will gives you a lot of sustain and makes your tougher agaisnt physical damage.

3) , 2 and 4 pots is a really outdated start but in my opinion is the safest. You got almost Health Regen and your sustain is really big with 4 pots moreover there no chance you'll get ever ganked and if they do but you plant wards correctly there's no way you'll get killed at least for first 10 minutes. The biggest problem is can't be upgraded and it scales really bad through game since Health Regeneration becomes almost
unnecessary when you grab Spell Vamp still a great stat, but not as good as in early stages.

4) I just realised answering this question it's more than a viable pick agaisnt ranged AP auto attackers ( not ). Anyway it's a lot better in long sustain battles than in heavy short early trades so you want to if you are going to play a more passive kind of lane and you find it useful against your opponent since he will auto you a lot and, and may try to burst you down.

Doing few maths if you can stay alive until the 10th minute in lane and then back you will get 576 Health from 's Health Regeneration which is sightly better than 3 red pots (450 HP for 45 seconds) if you add the 80 HP bonus and the block passive it's really great if you are able to stay alive without risking much.

= bigger chance to dodge skillshots + teamporaney Health regen = good against strong early laners/skillshot based champions.
= bigger sustain over time + block passive = good agaisnt ranged weak early laners

I like using mid because she's a bit tanky compared to other mage/assassin.
I like using because of his turret set-up, allowing him to farm safe.

I generally don't mind a champ with weak early game, as long as I don't have to do button meshing with that champ >:3

Thanks for your comemnt I'll try to explain myself as best as I can, but feel free to ask more if you don't understand anything of my thought process or the guide itself :)

1) You're right about the it's not a "must item", but for laning phase it's extremely good since most Mid laners, except some assasins has no Magic Resist scaling, but just 30 flat base MR, adding 9 flat they got 43 MR in the worst case it means you can rush --> + and deal them almsost magic-true damage.

In addiction the recent nerf on made this pick even more powerful since that 25 MR is a lot less than 40 and will be a less common pick on Mid laners. Generally speaking if the enemy laner gets MR it's better stack AP if they dont' stacking Mpen worth a lot more than AP because you can do greater damage with better cost efficeincy.

As the note in Core items says can be bought or skipped and later it may be sold or upgraded to depeding to the situation. You dont' want to buy that item if you think the enemy team will not go for Health and the Mid laner will get a or rush some sort of early Magic Resist. It's up to you.

Examples: - has 30 flat MR amnd he will go for straight dps so rushing and then (because he has no problem to catch up to you and has no big unpredictable skill shots to dodge) is the way to go. Later on if you feel would be unnecessary sell to free an other slot.
- is a big pain with no flat MR, but if she's not brain damaged she'll rush which combined with her will grant her some tankiness against Magic damage. Then go for AP maybe a DFG if you want to try to kill her or to survive her burst and just farm. In this case you want to skip .

2) is as good as any other Mid laner, but he exels at counter specific harass absed champions. He coutners about 1/3 of the Mid laner because of . If you want to use it Mid lane it's completely fine in low mid elo, but I don't reccomend using him in medium-high+ elo.

- is not really as near tank as and differently form him she has great early-mid game, but poor late game due to her beign a melee fighter-assasin with no escapes, morever she's very easy to predict and counter with champions like .
- is a great lane bully with solid laning phase but he scales poorly in the game and has no escapes, I don't like much this champ, but I have to admit he can really carry games if used properly.

League of Legends is an evolving game with different kind of heros, due to this constant evolution it may seem unfair, but it tends to balance so the choice is really up to you because you should never find a champion who has less possiblity to win a game if mastered. Even can carry games if played by an main.

If you are next to end game with tons of spare money just be sure to have something simlar to shose builds:

best build for burst/dps while having both Zhonya and GA

best build to max out your survivability and Ghost dps

These are the two best end game general builds imo. The first is the best one. Anyway put 99% of games if you feel they got too much CC go for .

You can sell for is the enemy team is heavily AP focused.
