I'm starting to learn and play top lane again (this time at higher elo) because I feel that my focus at top lane is much easier than it is at bot. This means that my Riven guide and Renekton guide will be updated with better quality when I have the chance.

I recently joined the mobafire community and I immediately made a guide to help others. I'm glad to hear that almost instantly, it has helped some people and some others liked my guide. Of course there are those that only look at the build and immediately think its wrong without even looking at the guide, but oh well. The name is guide, not law. :D

My 1st game of the official season 3. Somehow the last guy to call a role somehow doesn't have any characters for that role (or any he's good at 0.o). So I'm Sona, supporting a Gangplank. Our jungler wastes my slow spell and doesn't engage during a gank.

Well lets get down to it shall we? So there is a new ranked system much like the one in almost every other game and I quite like it. So far I've had more wins because ELO hell just doesn't exist higher up now since the system is more tuned to your skill as are other players. There are a few critiques I could give though such as the way they made the rank up system is a little dodgy at times. Such as earning more wins a row gets you more points sounds normal , but lets just say you just get really lucky and win about 20 games in a row. It makes for ranking up very fast and easy, granted it does make sense to earn more points since you're performing well, but I see that it may back fire and put you into a ranking that you just are not ready for.

Don't get me wrong the way that the new system works keeps low ELO players at a low rank there for keeping them out from ruining your game and ELO. My second criticism would be how the promotion works. So the idea is you get 100 points then you …

So, the new ranked system for season three is out. My opinions on the system very high, it's very simple, the more you win the more league points you get. sad to say I got to B4(bronze4) as soon as I logged in made it up to 60 (17->30->60) and then got dropped to B5(started with 50 points) and won two games which set me up for my promo match that I will do tomorrow, so my current W/L are 76/79 so if I win my 2 pro matches tomorrow I will be in B4 at 78/79 W/L.

Been awhile.
So yeah, I'm starting to play solo queue Ranked because of the introduction of the new League system. As of 2/1/2013, I placed in Lux's Exemplars, which is Silver Division Five. I'm chronicling my adventures into Ranked over at this thread, which is where I'll be archiving my daily games, with hopefully one game a day put on YouTube.

So I didn't have to go to school to day since my sister wasn't feeling good, so I just watched the BR tournament and played a couple of ranked games (will be posting my 2nd league climb before I go to bed tonight). The new league system seems to put people who do well, together since I've played with mostly competent people from different teams. Enough about League hell. That was my day in a nut shell. Today, i reviewed someone's guide. They PM-ed me, since i guess my guide reviewing service in my sig gave me some attention (and a whole 3 rep! COME AT ME BRO!)

Anyways, I read the guide, and i have evidence that the guide writer (not going to rat him out) just copied and pasted sections from the #1 guide.

Seriously. WTF!

Why would someone EVER approach me, asking for help with their guide, when they didn't even write their whole guide!

4 wins in a row today. 88 Points already and 2nd in my division. Just need 1 more win and it's promotion time (if I can win 2 out of 3 games xD). First guy in my division is playing his promotion games but he lost the 1st one. If you're reading this (highly doubt it) I wish you the best of luck if you get to the next League xD

Seriously I doubt this ranked system reduced the amount of trolls/flamers but it's still awesome and it's worth it to play ranked now. Ty Riot!

EDIT: Scratch that..6 wins in a row lol. If I win my next game I advance to the next division. Funny how I'm already so close to advancing to the next division when the new system has been out for 1 day xD
