So recently i was asked, "Well what if someone asks how to play a champion and a team mate replied back with use Doran's Ring on say Vayne and took that as legitimate advice."
Well personally I would say I can't really answer that one, but i would say instead that knowing that they're at least level 30 with over 100 hundred wins maybe they would have some common sense and say "ha ha good one, but no really how do i build this champion." Not to mention yes you can look up builds on Mobafire*, but not many people will do so.

Truthfully I have asked people in the past if they have ever looked up a guide and usually the answer is no. So for that game I guide them as best I can with the knowledge that I have for that champion. Then after the game I lead them to Mobafire* in hopes that they take some time to look at guides. Also just telling them about guides sometimes is not enough. In my experience guides do help, but it helps to have a visual aid of some sorts or to see what your abil…

Is it just me or is my Pantheon guide actually suffering from troll votes?

I've asked many MobaFire contributors to review my guide and so far I've been getting great feedback and votes of confidence from them. Yet, everytime I get an upvote from a qualified source, I get an unexplained downvote from who knows where.

I want to believe that the quality of the guide will naturally convince people it deserves a higher rating than in the 70% range, but now I wonder if these alleged troll voters are too much to overcome.

I hope it's not true and these people have a legitimate beef (in which case they should explain their beef!), but I have a hunch that it is what I think it is. It's always sad to see politics take precedence over meritocracy

So I've been looking through all these guides and most of their names contain stuff like "Competitive s3 guide" or "ranked s3 guide" or "competitive ranked guide" or something of the sort.

Then I started to wonder. What was the definition of a ranked guide or a competitive guide?

I always used to think a ranked guide was a guide written by an upper-level player and a competitive guide described the many competitive playstyles of a champion.

Should a so-called ranked guide be a guide written by some 1.3k elo player?

Should a competitive guide be written by someone who doesn't attempt to explain or even put in tournament playstyles / builds in their guide?

Kinda confused here :/

Got denied my first Penta Kill twice in 1 game. First time Shen escapes on purpose just so I won't get the Penta. Second one MF tried to give it to me by rushing me (cause I was fed and it was obvious I'd kill her) but she didn't make it in time and it was unofficial.

2 denies..no comment on this ****..this proves how cursed I am at never making a Penta.
