In the league of legends, you will found out that you take damage every once in a while.
Of course, we want to prevent that, but there are so many items for defence, including:
* Magic Resistance (MR)
* Armor (Ar)
* Health (HP)
* Health regen (HP/5)

MR and Ar have the same system, which reduces damage in percentage.
While HP basically "blocks" the damage as a number.
And HP/5 grants HP back every 5 seconds.
Let's ignore Health regen, we just want to see how much damage we can take in a row.

Data
If we want to make sure which one is better than the other one, we must use certain data.

Defense
Each point of Ar/MR (or DF) will grant an amount of reduced damage done in a certain catagory (physical damage or magical damage).
The more DF you have, the less damage you take. So how much is that?
We multiply the damage by = 100 / (100 + DF) * damage
So we can basically say this: 100 * damage / (100 + DF)

This means, that the more DF you will build, each point extra will give less % in damag…

So today, I just went through the Mr. Alma Mater auditions for our prom since I was nominated for it due to my grades and there was completely no way to back out.

Being the fact that this was only the second time I had been in a competition like this in real life, I was nervous as all hell. The first time I was in one of these was several months back. And in that, we had to memorize and present a specific piece in front of the judges and then go through a Q&A portion to become the Young Jose Rizal contestant. And that went disastrous for me, for it being my first competition. I ended up forgetting a few lines and misplacing one line ahead of the another. I did however, nail the Q&A portion by being the only one who gave a relevant answer. Didn't win the part though, but I didn't really mind since I didn't really want the part to begin with.

This time however, I went in confident since I kinda wanted to graduate and have something amazing to remember. The criteria this time around wer…

I'm kinda jealous of all the amazing looking Build Guides on Mobafire, I kinda want to make one but I know it won't be very good compared to others. I mean, people put a lot of detail into one guide and I feel like I would lack on the details department. I would know what I'm doing (hopefully), I mean a build guide I make wouldn't be completely useless cause it would be (most likely) the build I use in my games all the time. Le sigh, LoL problems.

So I think it's about time we talk about the free week champions themselves. I like the idea and I don't like the idea of the champion rotation myself. Mostly because of the fact you learn a champion and how they work for about a week then that champion may or may not be switched out for the next weeks free week champions. I own almost all the champions except for 20 and I've unlocked most of them through I.P. unless I wanted a skin on the champion or wanted early access with RP because I didn't have the I.P. at the time. So i can understand some people not having champions unlocked and using the free week champions.

I do question also why some of the free week champions are selected, like for instance one week we got 3 ADC champions in the same week which was weird and I ended up having to argue what they had to build since they thought they built all of them the same way. I wish there was some way to suggest champions for a free week rotation rather than it just being random so ther…

So, I started playing this game back in september or october last year. I had never played any dota or anything, so I didn't know the slightest bit about it except that it was a PvP game and that people would get pissed at you if your were a "noob". So, I've been super afraid of "moving up" every step of the way.

I started with beginner bots. I was really bad, but I stuck with it because the game was new, challenging, and it was fun to try out all the different characters. Then I built some confidence with Lux and braved myself for intermediate bots, where my confidence got shot back down to earth (those bots are good!). Eventually I got good enough against those bots that I decided I was ready to step into the PvP ring. My first game was a normal blind pick game where I went 21/9/? as Ashe in a loss. I was like, okay, that wasn't so bad.

Then, I proceeded to become a horrible ADC because I had no idea how to farm, had no clue about strategies and ganks, and pretty much just sucked f…

Helllo! I was playing Mordekaiser one day and i have a really weird build going on, I basicly start of with Health regen. (for 180 g) then one ward (75g) and then Health Potionx6

Caitlyn count, 1-0, I really doubt it'll stay this way, but ya know. We started blue as a Nami/Cait vs a Maokai/Ezreal and from the get go it was pretty much decided. They wanted a kill on Nami quite badly because she didn't take flash, so I took advantage of that aggressiveness and bad target picking, and got a double kill as soon as they both flashed onto Nami. Mind you, I have no idea why Ez would flash onto her after wasting his blink to get towards her, but he did, and he got the kill for it... only to be melted by my Q, and two auto attacks to take out a baffled Maokai. By 15 minutes in I was 7/0/2, and the story was a sad tale. End of game, 14/0/11.

It wasn't really a great game overall, but I did do quite a few things that I was supposed to, such as go and steal blue from the enemy nocturn any time I saw him top, which was often. In fact, he never ganked. The teemo was top, and clearly, when he was ganking, something was wrong. Nami made up for quite a few of my shortcomings, …

Hey everyone, finally made it to level 30 on Saturday, and I appreciate all of your concerns about my rank, although I'm sorry to say I completely ignored all of you. I appreciate the concern, and I love the advice, but it seems like it's only difficult if you haven't been practicing one role for the last 20 levels. I may only have 100+ wins under my belt, but I've been called a fantastic support by numerous people, and my play seems to be able to keep up with the ranked play. Anyway, so far the record is 6 and 2, one of those losses because I was called into an emergency mid game! (Oh well!) The other losing game was a clean sweep against us, and all I can say is that I did my best.
