Threats & Synergies
This guy... It makes your life really hard. You constantly have to be alert of your position, if you get pulled there's a very high chance that you'll die despite trying to flash out.
FUCK THIS CHAMPION. He's got nerfed hundreds of times yet he is still an S tier support, his kit is just unfair to play against.
I have never lost against a Leona as Senna. She's actually one of the best matchups for dark harvest senna because it's simply impossible for Leona to catch a skilled Senna player due to the absurd range difference. Basically free stacks for both your passive and dark harvest.
A good Morgana makes your W useless but other than that and her very annoying (yet easy to dodge) Q; she has no protection against you. You're going to outheal her Q+W combo and since you're an AD champion her shield is not going to protect anyone against your damage.
OH LAWD. This champion cannot build health but still feels impossible to kill. He's going to win all the 1v1 trades.
I play this champion a lot, he used to be my main go-to before Senna so i know literally everything about him. As Senna you outrange him very early, his Q is incredibly easy to dodge when you're that far away. He only becomes a threat after he finishes his Mobility Boots but you also have your E which allows you to run away.
He's going to poke and poke and poke AND POKE AFTER POKING YOU. His abilies are really not that hard to dodge but the problem is that you'll have to get in his range to poke his ADC and him because you need to stack your Dark Harvest and Support Item. Keep a distance between your ADC after he gets his Ultimate ability.
When this champion is picked you know for a fact that they have aduo partner and they're going to have a hyper carry with them such as Kog'maw and Twitch. There's really not a lot you can do and you'll probably lose the lane because they're going to be a lot more cordinated than you and your ADC.
He's a decent champion but not really a threat, you outrange him.
You're definitely going to win the lane against this guy but do not, and i repeat, DO NOT all in into this guy.
She's basically a weaker pocket Senna. She used to be really strong but after the nerfs and the mini rework she's quite weak.
This guy is high. Nobody normal plays this champion.
She can't use her W on you because you outrange her. Her shield is not strong enough to protect her or the enemy ADC from your constant burst. Easy lane.
Please stop poking me. You're going to keep yourself in the lane despite her absurd damage but she's just annoying.
Strongest enchanter in the game. She, herself, is not the threat but her ability to assist her laning partner is really high.
You outrange her. She's probably not even going to try to catch you and focus on your ADC instead but you can just heal your ADC after her lane combo is over.
Just kill her with a single hit. She's basically just a super minion compared to you.
Rush the Executioner's Calling and you win 100%.
He's able to look after himself which is awesome because you'll be able to focus on your enemies a lot more.
There's a very high chance for your enemies to rage quit because of the constant poke they're going to be under.
Jhin players love Senna because you allow them to root the enemies with their W. You're going to have absurd amounts of burst damage in lane.
You two are bread and butter, You compliment each other more than any other duo. Senna's only weakness is her lack of damage at the start of the game and this guy has the strongest level 3 among all the ADCs.
Champion Build Guide
First of all welcome to my very first champion guide.
I've been playing League since the release of Aatrox. Due to my strict life style i couldn't really play that many games in the past seasons so i used to only play ranked until i reached gold and never touch it again. This year i'm free to play as much as i want due to the fact that i'm now in college and i don't need to study as hard as i used to.
My in-game summoner name is Deus Ex Kavurma, I'm a Gold Tier support main. I used to play in the EUW server until a few years back when i transferred my account to the Turkish Server, in the Turkish server it's a lot more harder to climb because of the incompetent playerbase we have but this doesn't stop me from playing support because i simply enjoy this role a lot more than others.
My guide is special compared to the others in a way. Other players create those guides with high elo and professionals in mind, which is understandable, I however certainly know a lot more about this lower Gold elo than any of them so i believe that you're going to be a lot more successful by following my guide instead of theirs.
Senna in my opinion is a very special champion and brings a lot to the table. She's an AD burst machine that also has the ability to heal and speed up her allies, she also possesses THE BEST global range ability in the game and has the potential of turning the tides in a teamfight.
Having Dark Harvest is really a no-brainer. It's amazing for Senna. It gives your ultimate ability a semi-execution and in the late game you're going to be able to oneshot anyone that is not a tank. It's also incredibly easy for Senna to stack Dark Harvest because of her incredible range.
Only alternative for this rune is the Cheap Shot but compared to Taste of Blood it's inferior. As Senna your job IS to hurt enemies anyway, this rune is basically a free lifesteal for you.
Umbral Glaive is what makes this rune awesome. Since the zombie totems are not counted towards your ward limit your vision control is going to be off the charts.
Like i said countless times, Senna's ultimate Dawning Shadow is arguably the strongest global range ability in the game. you want this to be off of cooldown as much as possible and this rune allows you to have just that.
Free mana, why not?
Free extra damage, why not?
Okay here's the deal. Best place for Senna to be is behind her ADC, Ignite has the range of 600 units which is the same as Senna's starting range but the thing is, Senna's passive Absolution increases her range by 25 units for every 20 souls collected. By the 8 minute mark you'll have to get closer to enemies than you need to which is just unneccesary. Heal on the other hand has the range of 850 units and the chances are the game is going to end before you get that much range.
I don't think i need to explain why you'll want to take this spell, only champion in the game that doesn't need this spell at all is Shaco and you're obviously not him.
Black Mist Scythe
This is your only option as a support item for Senna, really. You're able to earn money very easily because of your long range pokes with this baby.
Would you want to deal 100 damage more on your every basic attack, yeah? Then these bad boys are just the right items for you. Your Q Piercing Darkness counts as a basic attack just like Ezreal, you have the ability to hit two basic attacks in a quick succession and because of Senna's decent mana pool the amount of damage Muramana gives is very good.
Edge of Night
After a while your enemies realise that you hit a lot more than your teams ADC and basically one shot theirs, so naturally they start focusing you. This item gives Senna a protection from CC which she desperately needs and allows you to survive the attacks from those pesky assassin champions such as Talon, Zed and Kayn.
Mortal Reminder/Lord Dominik's Regards
Nowadays a lot of champions rely on their ability to life steal in order to sustain damage. Mortal Reminder allows you reduce the total amount of healing they get by 40%, basically cutting it in half, while also providing a very nice percentage armor penetration so that you can hit even harder. I really don't like Lord Dominik's Regards, i feel like the extra 10% armor penetration, despite being pretty cool, is just not worth replacing the grievous wounds passive our former item has.
This item used to be a part of Duskblade of Draktharr, a while back Riot decided to seperate the two items. Umbral Glaive has less lethality compared to its counterparts but it has a very usefull passive that detects totems automatically and allows you to one shot them, Senna is a champion with very low attack speed so clearing enemy totems take a lot of time without this item. With Senna's incredible mobility you'll be clearing a lot of totems while roaming.
Senna gains critical hit chance automatically as the game progresses and she collects souls, this item allows your critical strikes to hit like a truck. I personally don't buy this item often since i believe that this item is just overkill in terms of damage and instead of being a glass canon i like having a bit of survivability.
