Runes: Standard CDR Ziggs
+1-10% CDR (lvls 1-18)
+9 Adaptive (5.4 AD or 9 AP)
+15-90 HP (lvls 1-18)
Threats & Synergies
RUSH ZHONYAS FOR HIS ULT. Pre 6 you're fine but post 6 he can, and will delete you without zhonyas/stopwatch ASAP
Absolutely insane burst and a bleed that will finish you off. I tend to just ban him tbh.
You poke her way too hard to be a threat and she cant stop your pushing. Watch for flash ult combo.
Until he gets his Rabadons he is yours. He can't compete with your poke or wave clear and since you can shove really safely due to range you can just prevent his CS.
Like Talon, but AP. I normally go Banshees into this.
Her combo can facewreck you really hard. Banshees or Mask is a really good rush to just not die against her.
Trynda is a really easy top laner to push ahead with CDR since you can blow up his tower by like 8 minutes if he gets ahead and his w slow makes your bombs near impossible to miss
Literally the best possible top laner for you to get. Every time you go up there or he roams mid it's a tower and probably a kill unless you play really stupidly. Insane push and sustained damage
Champion Build Guide
Ziggs has, since his release, been one of the champs whose kits have just been absurdly fun and expressive for me. He has his niche and does it extremely well so I hope you enjoy the guide and have fun with this build!
Remember you're insanely poke heavy so abuse the hell out of laners. Most have trouble dealing with a ziggs who can land his q's properly since they do a lot of damage and the cd is so low that you have a tonne of sustained damage to back that up. PRACTICE YOUR Q and try to get your Manaflow up ASAP. Back at around 1675 gold (1400/1500 with Futures Market)
[*] Try to focus your early wards on the side your Jungler isn't. They're likely to intercept most anyone who's on the side they're clearing so it's generally a better idea to ward up where they are not.
[*] Most AD assassins early will be trying to out poke you from their sheer combo damage so try to dip around minions as much as possible and freeze for ganks. Try to pull their combo pieces off as you can to do trades but don't face tank anything if you can.
Mid Game: This is where you get super interesting. Mid game you're already at ~35%CDR and have like 8-12 seconds on your W. Look to get your tower ASAP or any towers looking low on the map before 14minutes for the huge team gold since you're nearly guaranteed it with your w.
[*] Remember your Passive is what makes you deal so much damage to towers. Focus on keeping the CD off with q e and finish the tower with W. DO NOT USE YOUR W TO LOWER YOUR Q's CD UNLESS YOU'RE IN TOWER KILL RANGE it's your disengage if you get jumped.
[*] Don't forget to grab your trinket upgrade at around level 10. Normally we go blue unless red is necessary.
Late Game: You're dealing a LOT of damage now and you can take towers in seconds, look to end the game as fast as possible one good wipe is nearly always a GG due to how fast you push.
[*] Poke CONSTANTLY at this stage. They are walking through to the Nellis Airforce Base when you're there. They are constantly getting chunked by your q's and those q's hit really hard on a really low CD. Ult can be used to engage or execute at this stage.
BUY CONTROL WARDS CONSTANTLY
Seriously this is a fatal flaw I see a lot of people do. It's especially important to have vision on a push-centric champ and build because you will be prioritized for ganks and you will lose games if you do not buy them.
More of just an update in general, it's really busy rn at my job (FedEx Express, that time of year with every company doing early Black Friday now) and I'm practicing learning more of the intricacies of BBCode to improve all my guides so hopefully in the coming couple of months the guide will be vastly improved for everyone. Thankfully in the past several patches there haven't been really any major changes to impact this particular build/guide so it hasn't needed to much heavy updating but I AM still planning on reworking all my guides.

Happy New Year everyone! Not much has really changed with Ziggs lately and it looks to still be staying that way in the beginning of the new season!
