Rune Rundown

The main most popular runes for Twitch are Hail of Blades for AP or Burst AD, Lethal Tempo for AD, and PTA for AD. Out of all of these runes the most consistant seems to be PTA with Hail of Blades (AD) being clase behind.

Hail of Blades

HOB is the best rune page for AP as it allows you to consistanty hit 3 hits on someone, meaning you at least have 3 stacks of your poison on someone and AP is all about how many stacks your poison is up to.
HOB is also really reliable AD for the reason that you can get the best trades in the game out due to the extra Attack Speed. PTA early allows for more damage when you get three auto's but HOB never struggles to hit 3 auto's because of its bonus Attack Speed, this allows you to chunk the enemy in trades, plus you dont have to actually hit all of your HOB attacks.

PTA damage wise is thebest early game rune page, but it can become very unreliable into lanes where you can really walk up to get your three auto's off, it also can take people some time to build up the dicipline required to only hit one of your laners 3 times instead of spreading out the damage (this is only noticable in low elo). Despite all of this if you get the three auto's off then you do more damage than any other rune page. This rune page does heavily fall off late game though but hopefully the early game pressure allows ypu to not notice it.

Lethal Tempo

Lethal Tempo is by far the most fun rune page, sadly when you compare its early game to other rune pages its probably the worst one, but it makes up for it by being the best late game rune page as it allows you to get off so many auto's and late game your auto's should have a real punch behind them.

Ability Run Down

Twitch has one of the easiest to understand kits in the game then when you add in how both AP and AD max the same abilities with only changing Q and W leveling, this all makes Twitch's kit really easy to understand.

Ap usually goes E->W->Q
AD usually goes E->Q->W

Twitch's E is his main ability, the more you can stack your poison the better, for both AD and AP. You usually want to only use your E when someone has max poison but if needed in a trade, if they're low enough, or running away than by all means use E early.

Twitch's Q is vital for flanking and throwing off your enemy. The best way to use Q is out of vision, looking like your leaving, and recalling (press Q then B and you can stealth recall). You can use Q and just walk straight into the enemy teams front but this will usually get you isnta killed as all of the enemies cursors are already pointed in your direction, so when you go out of stealth it doesnt take much time for them to auto you or use their abilities on you. Now if you use Q to go behind the enemy (especially if theyre fighting your team in the front) then you cause complete chaos and kill off their backline which is usually the main damage. The reason this engage method is better is because they are looking in front of them to where the majority of your team is, there cursors are also up there, so when you engage behind them it takes time for them to change targets and to use their abilities and auto's on you. Lastly you can use Q when taking turrent for extra attack speed.

Twitch's W on AP is the most busted thing ive ever seen, his W slow scales with AP meanign when you're ap twitch with 600 AP you can slow people for almost 90% making them unable to move, what makes this even better is no one expects this bad of a slow so they continue to walk through the W giving you more time to auto and let W stack poison. For AD W is used to slow enemies still but less effective. You should always start your engage with W.

Many Twitch mains find Twitch's R really annoying as it is dodgeable, this though will only be noticed when fighting someone with increadible reactions or high movement speed. Twitch R empowers his Auto's with more AD, adds auto range, and allows his auto's to pierce enemies. Now lets think for a second, in team fights the enemy team is usually all together, so imagine the damage you could cause by using your R and just shooting at the clump of enemies.
