[12.18] Up To Date Diana Jungle Guide

Your goal when playing Diana
Your goal when playing Diana is to do your first clear without being killed, at that point youre in a pretty good spot to get fed from how fast diana clears. Don't underestimate how much damage Diana does early if she can land her full combo especially with conqueror stacks. only take fights before 6 if they are a guaranteed kill. if you stall your level 6 it will be much harder to win
Early game decision making and goals
The path i like to take on Diana is to start raptors solo and full clear red side into a cheater recall for dark seal. This gives you a secret edge for the scuttle fight and allows you to start stacking your dark seal early into the game. On your way back to your jungle you can take your wolves then head to scuttle or you can look to see if a lane is divable or if you need to hover a lane. This extra dark seal will give you the edge in most fights.
Pushing your lead
As Diana you want to be a very greedy jungler meaning do whatever gets you the biggest lead possible. You almost always want to take the kills for yourself as well as not do coinflip ganks. If you can be consistent with farm and keep your dark seal stacks, it is very easy to carry a game as Diana. You want to be on your camps nearly as soon as they spawn and look for invades on enemy camps if you know they are free to take. Dragon isnt necessary on diana however, once you are past 6 it is good to look for objective fights
Farming efficiently with Diana
Once Diana has a little bit of ap her clear is very fast meaning its almost always best to be full clearing on diana. any camp you leave up is missed gold and exp from the camp resetting. You can use your q on minions to get vision on it in fog of war and dash to it to get over walls and farm faster. As well, when you use abilities on diana she gets an attack speed buff for a short amount of time so you do not want to use all your abilities at once but try to spread them out over time to keep your attack speed buff.
In depth Diana abilities
Passive - Your abilities will give additional attack speed for a short period, so its best to spred out your abilities in fights or when clearing your jungle.
Q - Diana q will give vision on an enemy it hits so can use it to get over walls on unexpected enemies. You can also use diana q on minions as a gap closer to make a gank much easier. Most of the time all you need to make a successful gank is to dash on the enemy and ult, so its ok to use your q on the minion as a gap closer.
E - Diana e will reset if enemy has a passive stack on them from your Q, most people think you can only dash twice but you can actually dash 3 times. If you dash mid q and your q hits after your dash, the other enemies your q hits will still keep a passive stack, allowing you to reset your dash yet again, then finally dash to your target. For instance, you can q to an enemy, dash to the minions mid q, when your q hits the enemy you can dash to the enemy and it will reset again giving you a 3rd dash.
R - Diana ult will do more damage the more enemies it hits.
What to build and when and why
Always start with a dark seal on first back, its the best item for diana and gives you snowball potential. If you cannot finish your mythic but have enough for sorcerer boots it is still ok to finish your boots before your mythic. Sorcerer boots are very valuable for ap junglers. Stopwatch is necessary when you have a lot of dark seal stacks as you want to protect them the best you can, so try to make sure you have a stopwatch before going for fights. Finishing mejais is a risky play, so you want to make sure you have stopwatch or zhonyas before doing so. However, sometimes you can buy mejais without stopwatch if you know you arent in much of a threat of dying, but more importantly if the game is already in a doomed state and your only hope is to stack mejais as fast as possible. But still do your best to get stopwatch as soon as you can. I think morello is a bad item in general on diana because she is built as an assassin so getting heal cut doesnt do much if youre trying to one shot the enemy anyways. However, there are some cases it is good when the enemy has an absurd amount of healing early into the game and you simply dont have enough damage to cut through it. I would rarely buy healcut though unless my teammates cannot. Void staff is a great item on diana, because even if you are the only ap enemies will build Magic resist because she is just that deadly. Rabadons is a great item for Diana because if you have a fully stacked mejais, you can one shot champs without even using your ult. As well, you can 1v5 enemies with a rabadons if you hit a perfect ult.
