Summoners Spells

- - -Summoners Spells- - -

It's an source of antiheal so no need buying an Executioner's Calling early, deals True Damage and helps to track enemies, by the fog and invisibilities/camouflages. Makes your able to duel any champion early and you can get free kills on lane.
Exhaust is simply way too op. You can reduce more than 1/3 of your opponent's damage, also it helps you to CC someone with your Jack In The Box. Combined with Ignite you are literally unable to lose any fair 1v1 if you play like a human being.
Has insane synergy with Waterwalking, Youmuu's Ghostblade and Deceive making you more unpredictable with more ganking paths, better positioning and makes you easily cath anyone. Mandatory if your focus will be roam.
I know it's a bit odd taking Heal instead of any other spells listed before, but I recommend taking it only if your bottom laner refuses to take it and gets Exhaust(if he gets Ghost, you don't need Heal). Extra Health and movement speed for 2 people is underated.
Runes

Keystones:

Hail of Blades is the bread and butter rune for Shaco. It allows you to get 2-3 backstabs before your enemy can react adding alot to your burst. It's a early/mid game rune as it has 0 scaling, so keep in mind that it reinforces Shaco's nescessity to win games early. Electrocute otherwise is relevant through the entire game as it has a great scaling. I don't recommend doing it without Stridebreaker or Berserker's Greaves as you'll lack Attack speed to activate this rune.

TIP: Every time Hail of Blades is up, try to go to a bush with Deceive, wait it's cooldown be restored and attack someone that walked nerby for free gold.

Domination
Cheap Shot is perma active on Shaco because of Two-Shiv Poison. More effective with Utility build because you can apply more times the true damage as you'll be more tanky. Sudden Impact provides Lethality and Flat Magic Penetration and Shaco benefits from both.
Zombie Ward is optimal with Umbral Glaive as you'll negate and replace vision + 18 AD. Eyeball Collection is better for Roam as you'll focus more in fighting than controlling vision.
Treasure Hunter will help to get your items sooner, specially for Roam builds, because your items are really expensive. Ingenious Hunter only if you're going to use 3+ items with abilities that enter in cooldown. Relentless Hunter gives some roam power, but I don't reccoment for Roam path as you'll already have tons of movement speed .
Sorcery
Transcendence is strong as you'll reset a part of your cooldown each kill when you reach LvL 11. Extra Ability Haste is always nice as you'll be spamming your skills for controlling map and trying to get pick-offs in roams. Celerity is a nice combo with Waterwalking and Youmuu's Ghostblade, giving you even more map pressure.
Waterwalking can get you free kills in early scuttle fights as you'll get extra stats. Your extra AD scale through the game but you'll get flat 25 movement speed .
Inspiration
Future's Market will help you with your itemization, which most times will feel extremely bad, as support income are pretty bad.
Cosmic Insight is extremely overpowered as most games you'll play Ignite and Exhaust and you'll spam them considerably more, specially if you use Ionian Boots of Lucidity, you can cut almost 1/3 of their cooldowns.
Approach Velocity is insanely good with Shaco for the same reason as Cheap Shot, perma slow because of Two-Shiv Poison's auto-attack and Stridebreaker or Iceborn Gauntlet. Your Jack In The Box and Hallucinate's clone empowered auto-attack can also provide this same buff if you have vision. Keep in mind that clone's auto-attack will only slow if you don't waste you Two-Shiv Poison and that it'll only give 7.5% extra movement speed instead of 15%.
Items

- Boots:

- Start:

Boots of Swiftness makes you stickier with Two-Shiv Poison passive slow.

Ionian boots of lucidity are strong as you can spam your summoners spells.

Get Berserker Greaves if you want more damage or if you're planing to build Blade of the Ruined King.
Spectral Sickle is better than Steel Shoulderguards for Shaco as it provides5-10-20 AD and 25%-100% base mana regeneration for a mana hungry champion. Also you can proc it without exposing yourself to poke, by using Two-Shiv Poison. Every time that your Hail of Blades is up, it's free gold if they walk up to a brush.

-Utility:

-Roam:

Umbral Glaive is a core item for this build because it's passive is OP and it's building path benefits you alot with Serrated Dirk.
Now, which Mythic item should you choose, Iceborn Gauntlet or Stridebreaker? Iceborn Gauntlet has Sheen in it's building so you'll have some damage while building it. It's meant against full/mostly immobile Physical Damage compositions, so it's very situational. Combined with you Two-Shiv Poison, everyone in the area won't be able to flee or kill you. Stridebreaker will provide every offensive stats that you want + HP, while giving you an powerfull area slow and extra movement speed .
Build Anathema's Chains if the enemy have both Physical and Magical damage and you want to help tank and kill a target.
Serpent's Fang is amazing against Lulu, Janna, etc or if they have an fed champion that abuses shields, such as Yasuo, Yone or anyone with and Yuumi.
Frozen Heart is only viable if they have minimun 2 auto-attack based champions, other-wise the item will just show that you're near.
Chempunk Chainsword against Soraka and if they have more or 1 enemies that heals alot.
Edge of Night against Twisted Fate always and against champions that depends on a key skill, like Nunu & Willump.
Randuin's Omen against 2+ crit champion.
Black Cleaver if your team has atleast 2 Physical Damage champions and if their team is building armor.
Maw of Malmortius against 3+ Magic Damage champions.
Wit's End if you have Blade of the Ruined King and they have 1 fed or 2+ Magic Damage champions.
Blade of the Ruined King is just the strongest item ingame.
Vigilant Wardstone for extra map control.
As Mythic item, Youmuu's Ghostblade got a rework, and now is the perfect item for this strategy, as you want extra movement speed , and the item provides it both passively and actively with tons of AD and lethality.
If you're plannig to use Relentless Hunter or think your natural mobility and gaking paths are enough to catch enemies, you should build Infinity Edge, as you'll decay much latter. But never build it as first item as Prowler's Claw or Essence Reaver have better synergy with Deceive earlt game, where you crits won't hurt as you'll have less AD.
Umbral Glaive or/and Vigilant Wardstone for better map control.
Serpent's Fang is amazing against Lulu, Janna, etc or if they have an fed champion that abuses shields, such as Yasuo, Yone or anyone with and Yuumi.
Edge of Night against Twisted Fate always and against champions that depends on a key skill, like Nunu & Willump.
Essence Reaver and Prowler's Claw do the exact same thing, they increase you Deceive damage alot, but Essence Reaver has less damage and can be used manu times and is better for longer fights and team-fights and Prowler's Claw has more damage but way more cooldown so is better in pick-offs and short fights.
Maw of Malmortius against 3+ Magic Damage champions.
Lord Dominik's Regards and Mortal Reminder have similar proprieties, but the first it's meant for comps with tanks and bruisers that are doing lots of Hp and the latter is meant against healing champions, principally bruisers.
The Collector is only good if you have Essence Reaver and/or Prowler's Claw.
Against tanky comps, build Blade of the Ruined King for the percentage heath damage.
Playstyle

Playstyle:

As an auto-attack based support, Shaco needs to play way more agressive and proactive than his AP counterpart, in order to stay relevant through the game, being more riskier, but also way more rewarding. You don't rely on your Jack In The Box, so Oracle Lens don't affect you as hard as before. Because of Shaco's flexible itemization, you have 2 playstyles:

-Utility:

-Roam:

Is way safer to play as you just need to provide vision, control objectives and disrupt or start fights. Always track your enemy jungler movements by safely deep warding with your Deceive. This is essential when objectives epic jungle monster are going to spawn and before engage in any 2v2 in bot. Lane phase you just need to wait your enemies advance, try to bait some skills and engage, BOOM!!! free kills, thanks to your abuse your double spell power, which most games will probably be Ignite and Exhaust. Most of your items aren't that rich so chill around, get a kill or two and control the rift. The fun way to play. You want to destroy the mental health of your enemies. Camp mid, invade and kill low health junglers, go Top if you killed mid and it's free kill and there's the terror of a "double" jungler. Be creative, bait them, abuse your unpredictable pathings to belive that you're going mid by staying out of vision, or use your clone to make them think you're just breaking a ward and BANG, 5 seconds later you're killing mid. Make sure to either finish the game ASAP as you'll have -1 item or guarantee that your teamates will carry, otherwise you might kill the support or the ADC in a pick-off.

Note:
I don't recommend AD supp Shaco if you're not used to his damage. Try at your own risk in ranked games as it's riskier than AP. Don't do this if your team don't have any frontline champions to engage and tank.
Update log
Patch 12.12/12b - AD got better as your E scales better and your burst got stronger.
Patch 12.13-12.15 Improved guide visuals + Youmuu's Ghostblade isn't core anymore in roaming build as Duskblade of Draktharr grants movespeed now in mythic passive.
Patch 12.16-12.21 Improved guide visuals, grammar, logic and itemization.
Patch 12.22-12.23 Some build changes and items viability.
Patch 13.1 - 13.1b Infinity Edge got viable in roaming build + antiheal rules. Iceborn Gauntlet got viable in utility build because Sheen's extra damage. Death's Dance isn't viable anymore as you can't get lots of AD as Sup.
Patch 13.8-13.9 Guide Revamp + Updates on synegies and threats.
Patch 13.10 IDK WHERE I START!!! Infinity Edge turnt mythic. Duskblade of Draktharr is garbage for Shaco as it's meant for ability based champions. Youmuu's Ghostblade now is a mythic, so you can rush it now in roaming path. Vigilant Wardstone now grants you 20% of your stats, but it's more expensive. Maw of Malmortius's shield got nerfed, while costing 100g more. Prowler's Claw got viable for roaming build now, as it has old Duskblade of Draktharr's damage and slow passive. Stridebreaker and The Collector got more stats, without getting more expensive. Lord Dominik's Regards is better now for Shaco as it enhances Magic Damage. Oracle Lens can stack up 2 times now, so zombie ward has more value.
Patch 13.11-15 Shaco's Deceive got it's Bonus AD and Critical modifier increased. Ghost don't reset anymore after a takedown, but got it's duration increased from 10 to 15 seconds. Youmuu's Ghostblade extra lethality is now 3-12, not that relevant as Shaco doesn't benefits that much from lethality. Infinity Edge Critical modifier got increased. Essence Reaver got a buff for early/mid game but nerfed late game.
Patch 13.16 Shaco mana regen got nerfed and Jack In The Box cost 70 mana now. Umbral Glaive and Serpent's Fang got more lethality. Prowler's Claw has less cooldown and more damage.
Patch 13.17 Stridebreaker health got buffed. Future's Market got nerfed until 15 minutes, but after that mark, it outscale by extra 3 gold.
