Off-Meta/Splitpushing Shaco build notes

"Traditional" hybrid Shaco build paths for patch 14.8 includes a Spear of Shojin rush, into Liandry's Torment and followed by a Riftmaker. Because this is played in the JGL, there are not going to be mana problems like we have in lane. Incorporating an early Lost Chapter can give a generous amount of sustain that you can ride to the mid game, it makes the build easier to run in lane. Something like Malignance can give you Ultimate Haste on top of Spear of Shojin's basic ability haste seems like it synergizes well. A more for fun build.

Hello everyone!

My name is Mimic and I am a silver III Shaco currently, with the highest rank of Gold IV. Now not necessarily saying that I'm the best Shaco player, but I've got some time on him (1 mil mastery) and it is a champ that I love to play and do research into new builds through looking up OP GG's and other content creators. Once this guide is fully realized, I would like patches going forward to have cited builds from different Diamond-GM Shaco one-tricks as well as the patch that the build was utilized in.

For now this is a WIP guide that I'll be working on regularly, and will be publishing it as incomplete as it is for the time being.

Itinerary:

Laning Phase
WIP NOTES

I know many builds opt for Biscuit Delivery, but I personally have found a lot more success utilizing a furture's market for a quick Lost Chapter. If I am able to stay in lane long enough, I like to consider a Tear of the Goddess based off of matchup/preference. Still, a full AP build will get more out of Malignance first buy than a Seraph's Embrace.

Abilities
Backstab (INFO)

Innate: Shaco's basic attacks, Deceive and Two-Shiv Poison have bonus effects when striking an enemy from behind.
Basic attacks deal bonus physical damage. Can critically strike.
The next basic attack during Deceive Deceive crits for (+55% bonus) physical damage.
Two-Shiv Poison Two-Shiv Poison deals extra bonus magic damage.
Enemies can't be Backstabbed more than once every 3 seconds. This cooldown is modified by Cooldown Reduction.

Decieve (INFO)

Active: Shaco teleports nearby and becomes Invisible. Shaco remains Invisible even if he uses Jack In The Box Jack In The Box or Hallucinate Hallucinate.
His next basic attack during Invisibility deals bonus physical damage and reduces Deceive's cooldown by 2.5 seconds.

Duration: 2.5 / 2.75 / 3 / 3.25 / 3.5 seconds

Jack in the Box (INFO)

Active: Shaco creates a Jack in the Box that hides from view after 2 seconds. It pops out when an enemy comes nearby or when uncovered by a ward or trinket, making nearby enemies flee very slowly.
It attacks all nearby enemy units, dealing magic damage. Its attacks deal increased damage if it attacks only one enemy. It lasts for 40 (+10%) seconds while hidden and 5 seconds while firing.

Two-SHiv Poison

Passive: While Two-Shiv Poison is ready to cast, Shaco's basic attacks reduce the target's Movement Speed for 2 seconds.
Active: Shaco throws a shiv that deals magic damage and reduces the target's Movement Speed for 3 seconds. The shiv's damage is increased by up to 50% to targets below [+30% max] health.

Hallucinate (INFO)

Active: Shaco vanishes briefly and reappears with a clone. The clone lasts up to 18 seconds and detonates upon death, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and spawning three mini-Jack In The Box Jack In The Box es.
Mini boxes deal magic damage (increased if they attack a single enemy), making enemies flee for 1 second, and trigger together.
Clone deals (+60% Shaco's) and receives 50% increased damage.
