Hello. This is my first build guide so I decided to make it on Udyr my most favorite champion to jungle with. He used to be one of the best junglers but now he is about average. But with the recent buffs to Udyr I hope he'll become a better Jungler. As I was saying before this is my first build guide so please go easy on me.

I choose Greater Mark of Attack Speed and Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed for more Wingborne Storm procs.

I choose Greater Seal of Armor to reduce early game damage from the monsters in the jungle.

I choose Greater Mark of Scaling Magic Resist to counter late game AP burst.

I put my first point into Wingborne Storm, then my second point into Iron Mantle. If a lane is being pushed or if you want to do a early gank get your second point into Blazing Stampede. I then max out Wingborne Storm for the damage then Iron Mantle for the sustain. I get 4 points into Blazing Stampede for the move speed, and 4 points into Wilding Claw for the bonus attack speed which means more Wingborne Storm procs.

When to pick Udyr

When your team already has a tank ( Leona or Alistar bot or Shen top.
When you need a tanky jungler

When not to pick Udyr

When your team is a tanky team ( Shen top, Alistar bot and Galio mid)
When the enemy team has a champion that can kite easily ( Ashe)
When you don't have a tank

I choose Smite to jungle faster and to secure buffs, and Flash since Udyr has no gap closer.

Other Viable Summoner Spells

Ghost can be taken if you are not yet level 12 or if you don't like flash.
Ignite can be taken if there are high healing champions such as Dr. Mundo, Warwick and Zac.

Starting Items: Hunter's Machete and 5 Health Potion is the best start for most junglers in Season 3

Early Game Items: Spirit Stone and Philosopher's Stone help Udyr's mana problems since you spam all of his skills. Aegis of the Legion is good for tankiness, and Phage helps if your teammates lack cc since after the Blazing Stampede stun if Udyr does not have red buff he has little chasing potential.

Viable Defensive Items: Spirit of the Ancient Golem is the best jungling item for tanks. Locket of the Iron Solari and Runic Bulwark are very cost effective for junglers because of the reduced gold they receive. Randuin's Omen, Sunfire Aegis, and Spirit Visage all give a decent amount of health and resistances depending who is the most fed on the enemy team. Sunfire Aegis passive also goes along well with Wingborne Storm.
Frozen Mallet gives Udyr a lot of health and gives him good chasing potential.

Viable Offensive Items: Wit's End and Malady give Udyr on hit magical damage which goes well with his Wingborne Storm. Trinity Force gives Udyr a lot of stats that he wants such as health, attack speed, attack damage, critical strike chance, and ability power, increasing his damage overall.

Boot Choices: Mercury's Treads are good when the enemy team has lots of cc, Ninja Tabi is good when the adc is fed, and Mobility Boots and Boots of Swiftness are good if you find yourself ganking a lot.

Udyr is a good champion with good jungle clears. Usually the only kills Udyr will get are when he ganks early game or catches someone alone late game. I hope more people will play Udyr as he isn't played as frequently as other junglers such as Maokai and Nautilus]] since most junglers are now tanks. I will keep trying to add to this guide whenever Udyr's game play changes or different items are better.
