Champion Build Guide
Introduction
Hello and welcome to my Guide I am Mpegial (Pronounced like Beyal) and I wish to help out the newbies a bit more, this is a basic guide meant to give you the essential information about the game and give you a good base to start off.
Map

In this game you want to attack the enemy Nexus and destroy it to win, the Nexus summons waves of minnions for each lane to help you attack

Next is the Jungle, the jungle exists in both sides and is neutral however going to the enemy jungle is more risky as they could attack you and kill you, the apposing jungle is the exact same as your side but has it's sides are reversed and the exceptions to this are the

And finally Vision, vision is provided by the

Champions
There are a total of 148 champions to pick from, some are
Tank,
Marksman,
Mage,
Assassin
,
Support and
Fighter.
Picking one of those does not mean you have to play them that specific way, reason being the existence of Items, items help the player forge the champion any way they like, for example you can make a Tank into a damage dealer as long as their abilities allow it (I will explain in a later chapter)
You will not start with all champions, you will be given the champions that are currently free for the week to play with, after which you will be able with time, to earn currency to buy some of them. Some champions that I would recommend for starters would be:
Ashe,
Soraka,
Garen,
Amumu,
Master Yi,
Annie.
These champions fill all required roles and are simple in their mechanics as to help you understand how each of it works.

Stats
So let us start with the shop, the shop is right next to the area which you spawn and only if you are next to it can you buy items, and you can buy up to a total of 6 Items with the 7th being purchasable and cannot have an item put in that slot, the item being the
Ward. You always start the game with 500 Gold and from that Gold you can buy items depending on your character, lane, and opponents to change your stats accordingly.
One thing you must learn is the different requirements each character has, there are a total of 17 different stats and a few more that can not change, but let us start with 7 basic stats: Health, Mana, Attack Damage, Ability Power,Attack Speed, Armor, Magic Resistance.
(This is the current version)

Mana&Health: Are really obvious and simple, Health or HP, is the amount of hit points you can withstand, And mana is the resource used to cast abilities, almost all champions use mana but some have other things like energy or in some cases no costs at all.
Attack Damage : Commonly said as AD, is the physical damage certain champions use.
Ability Power : Commonly said as AP is the magic attack certain champions use.
Armor : Reduces physical damage by a percentage.
Magic Armor : Usually said as Magic Resistance, reduces magic damage by a percentage.
Attack Speed : Is simply the speed of which your character can use a Basic attack.
Certain champions use only AD or AP, that is the only type of damage that exists, which means that depending on your character you need to buy items that utilize their strengths.
For example
Ashe would need to buy AD items, that also give her Attack Speed, whilst
Annie will buy AP items that give her more mana, or
Garen where he would buy AD items that give him health along with items that give him Armor and Magic Resistance, and so on and so forth.

Shop & Item Synergy

I would like to recommend, in the tabs that the shop has, that you always use the "All Items" tab for the reason that it gives options to you for the items you are looking for, by checking boxes, which allow you to make it so you can see only items like potions, AD items, AP, Mana, Health, Armor, Magic Resist, Jungle items, Laning items as well as Vision and Trinket items, and many many more that I believe is too early for you to learn, as you need to focus on the basics for now, and you can of course check multiple boxes to gain a result that you desire for example you want a tanky item that also gives you attack damage like

I highly recommend the All Items tab so you can start learning faster and get more comfortable making your own build based on your play style. Do note! that using the recommended is also good for you to understand each champion that you are playing, as every champion has different abilities and item requirements.
Spells
Spells are something that all players have access to as long as their Player level is high enough, the spells are as follows per player level:
Level 1:
Heal-
Ghost
Level 4:
Barrier-
Exhaust
Level 6:
Clarity
Level 7:
Flash-
Teleport
Level 9:
Smite-
Cleanse-
Ignite
So here are some core things to note,
Flash is a must have spell that you don't even need to think about the moment you can use it add and never change it till you are more used and knowledgeable about the game.
Ignite is used by Mid laners the most as it helps with damage,
Heal is mostly used by
Marksman and
Exhaust by the
Support.
Barrier is rarely used but is most often used by Mid Laners,
Clarity and
Cleanse are basically useless so no one really uses them,
Ghost is used by some champions that have high movement speed but not much more. And finally
Smite is something that you only pick if you are the Jungler and MUST pick as you will not be able to buy the Jungler's items.

Runes
This is a bit more complicated but luckily the game has a few sets of runes so you don't need to worry about that too much early on. Regardless I believe it would be best for you to know some info about Runes. For starters runes have a Main rune and a Secondary rune, the Main rune will give you more options to pick from including the KeyStone which give you 3-4 options to pick from all giving a special passive ability that has a much stronger effect than the other smaller Keystones and Secondary runes, which give you 2 options from their respective skill tree.

Domination Is an aggressive rune used mostly by
Assassin
s,
Junglers and
Fighters, it mostly assists in assassinations,
Life Steal and damage in general.
Precision Is also an aggressive rune but more useful for
Marksmen and
Fighters as well as commonly used as a secondary rune by
Assassin
s.
Resolve Is a rune mostly for
Tanks and
Supports as it helps damage towers faster, increase your health and defenses and give shields to your allies.
Sorcery Is quite obviously used by
Mages but can also be used by
Assassin
s for mana sustain and a bit of extra damage.
Inspiration Is a miscellaneous rune used mostly by
Mages and
Supports that allows you to reduce cooldowns, gain increased movement speed and a few other buffs/tools to use while playing.

Laning
Top Lane: Usually consists of
Fighters and
Tanks,
Fighters are good damnage dealers while maintaining a decent amount of defense, whilst the
Tank is far more durable and not as good a damage dealer but there are a few exceptions to that such as
Renekton.
Mid Lane: Usually consists of
Mages,
Assassin
s,
Marksmen )(Not very common) and
Fighters, all of which are very good damage dealers and some times tanky.
Bot Lane: Most of the time consists of 2 Players, a
Marksman and a
Support,
Supports can be healers and or
Tanks that have good crowd control and good ways of protecting their
Marksman, in some rarer cases people pick
Mages only for bot lane but I do not recommend it for beginners.
Jungle: The
Jungler can be any role but very rarely can they have the
Support role play in jungle as it is too hard to kill monsters. The purpose of a
Jungler, is to get stronger disrupt the enemy
Jungler by stealing their monsters and helping your team by ganking their lane and killing the enemy laner.

Laning Phases
So after you have chosen your lane, and bought your items, you go to your lane and wait for the minnions to spawn. After the minnions spawn and they start heading for the enemy Tower you should be farming them by attacking each minnion at their last Hit Point(Health), which will grant you gold according to the minnion type and level.
Farming minnions gives you a "CS" counter, which tells you how much your Creep Score is, a.k.a how many minnions you have Killed through "Last hitting".
While you are farming however you will also be facing the enemy Player or Players, in which case your goal is to defeat them and destroy the Towers.
After one or more Towers are destroyed the situation changes a bit, the Mid or Top or Bot that succeeded in destroying the tower, will usually farm and occasionally roam around to help in other lanes or in objectives such as
Dragon or
Baron Nashor.
With time (Usually at 25-30 minutes "depending on the game mode") as all of you obtain more items and become stronger , you will slowly start farming less and less and will be more focused in Beating the enemy team, so you can gain advantage during their Death Timer, and destroy as many enemy towers, or capture as many objectives as possible to have an advantage later, or even win the game by destroying the Nexus if you are able to reach it.
