Introduction

Hi, I'm Weicksan and this is my first guide in Mobafire. This is myNocturne Jungle guide. I will be covering most of the knowledge/wisdom needed to completely own in 5v5 (Summoner's Rift). I hope you enjoy the guide and try the build first before voting. Trying the builds first would mean a lot to me before you guys start saying anything bad about it and giving the guide a negative vote. Now listen, my builds are not-at-all the same as other Nocturne builds. It doesn't mean that it's any worse, it's just different. Thank you for reading and enjoy this guide.

Attention,
This is not a designed build for any of you. You can change the build to your liking.

Runes

I prefer to get 9x Greater Marks of Attack Damage. This is for stronger ganks and faster jungle clearing in order to rack up some kills or provide support to those who's lanes got pushed too far. It truly helps a lot that the faster jungle clear you got, the faster you can get items, buffs, and (mostly likely) dragon as well. 3x Greater Quintessences of Attack Speed is pretty self-explanatory since it will help get you clear jungle faster than you already have. 9x Greater Seals of Armor gives plenty of armor necessary for it to survive jungle longer during early game. 9x Greater Glyphs of Scaling Magic Resist provides early magic resist against AP carries and continue to increase as your reach lvl 18.

Masteries

I go with a 21-9-0 Mastery page for Nocturne. Isn't he mostly on the offensive? 21 in Offensive--4 in Fury (for more attack speed), 4 in Deadliness (for scaling attack damage), 1 in Weapon Expertise (for more armor penetration), 3 in Havoc (for more damage dealt), 2 in Brute Force (for, again, more attack damage), 2 in Lethality (for more Critical Damage), 1 in Frenzy (for more attack speed when you make a critical against an enemy), 3 in Sunder (for more armor penetration), and 1 in Executioner (for more dealing damage when enemy champions are below 50%).

Gameplay

Jungle Route
If you think there is a ganking opportunity while you're on route, feel free to stop your jungling and help gank or pick up a kill or an assist. You can gank pretty easily after you get your red buff due to the slow and burn when you attack.

Note: If you have members of your team helping you leash the blue buff, you may not even need to use your Smite. It's better to save that Smite for your next buff in your jungling route or counter-jungle to steal their buffs.
Blue Buff Route
Start at wolves and hit them with Duskbringer. I try to stay in side of the wolves so that I can hit all of them rather than in the back and only hitting the bigger wolf. Hopefully your allies are friendly enough to help you lower the wolves' health.
Next stop is blue golem. Try to get a good leash and hopefully no need for smite unless they only give you a light leash.
