first of all.Aatrox is a lane bully if you perfect it.He has a really high potential to carry games till late game.However he falls pretty hard at late game.If we think about the pros of playing Aatrox.1st He has great sustain.Thanks to his passive Deathbringer Stance,passive of his Umbral Dash and World Ender2-He can poke pretty well with his Q The Darkin Blade.3rd He can lane better against ranged champions compared to other top laners.4th he can dash through some walls with Umbral Dashand the movement speed bonus coming from World Ender makes him a bit mobile.5th he is hard to stop once he snowballs in lane and dominates whole map with teleport pressure.He can split push pretty well and duel aswell.
But if we check his cons he is also pretty fragile.1st High cool downs so if you miss or waste your skills its not a good sign for next few seconds.When he falls from the game at late he pretty much becomes only a frontline.2nd He regens so low so if you cant seek trades with your oppenent and you re low on hp its a hard time for a Aatrox.3rd His Q s The Darkin Blade are his main damage skill and they can be dodged.4th He cant do anything without his team if they have a high cc enemy team.5th Low cost healing reduction items Grievous Wounds effect applying items are making him have hard time. At the bottom of the build options i put my current patch builds the things i test out and share the experience.

Well first we can talk about the usual trade combo
You go for The Darkin Blade- Infernal Chains- Umbral Dash-Q-auto attack-Q you will probably proc your passive Deathbringer Stancewith with the auto attack after the 3rd Q this combo helps you alot as it allmost makes sure you will pull your opponent with Infernal Chains.
The 2nd combo is for people like darius
You start with The Darkin Blade-auto attack- Infernal Chains-2nd Q- Umbral Dash back so you can poke your enemy and not get hit from him/her.
The 3rd combo is really important because you can catch your opponent offguard with The Darkin Blade- Umbral Dash- Flash
The 4th combo (all in)
This combo has diffrent variations.I mostly do
Infernal Chains- The Darkin Blade- World Ender-auto attack-2nd Q-auto attack-3rd Q the part where you use your ultimate World Endercan chang.The important part is after you make sure you are going to pull your opponent with Infernal Chains then using your ultimate World Ender so you can finish your combo with maximum damage.
5th combo is i personally call"YOLO"
You start with World Ender-then The Darkin Blade- Umbral Dash- Infernal Chains-2nd Q-auto attack-3rd Q.This combo helps you close the distance between you and your opponent or if your enemy is immobile you can do this aswell as you all in.

As a lane bully you must punish your opponent with your skills and auto attacks everytime he tries to get cs.Your early damage is pretty high compared to other top laners and also after first back you become so strong that i recommend you to keep forcing your enemy to trade with you.As you heal from damaging your oppenent its your favour.Your Base Hp regen is so low so you must keep poking your enemy if you re too low just use your q The Darkin Blade and back off.When you have your passive Deathbringer Stance your auto attack range is a bit longer and try to use your passive on the oppenent.you can use Umbral Dash to auto attack reset while farming under turret etc.

Allways seek Teleport to bot lane.Mid game is your prime time and you must make pressure enemy team so your team can take a lead.You must help your team take objectives as much as you can but also not let your oppenent afk farm and catch up so you need a high knowledge of lane management.Allways With the recent buffs on Aatrox s Ultime World Ender your mid game powerspike is much more stronger however you must be carefull about Grievous Wounds as it hurts your kit so much.
