So, people are suggesting BF Sword rushs / IE/ Bloodthirster rushs... if I would do such a build, there is no need to upload it :x... I know that one of the best ways to play a carry is to rush a BF Sword, but I don't like it. Imagine you can't get enough farm for that **** thing that provides you with some AD and no res/hp
Hello,
whenever I try a new Champ and I fail I use a much tankier way to deal with it.
So in the end this is my always working build on any melee ad carry.
I called it Longswordstyle although you can change the items to what you need. (Bloodthirster, Gunblade, Guardian Angel and so on)
Actually this Build was only for Shaco, but works damn good with Talon and Udyr... well you know. It's Udyr...
Testing this with Skarner too~...
So why is this called Longswordstyle?
That's simple: Because all the damageitems require at least 1 Longsword.
Well that may change during the game, but that's the idea.
Pros:
+ Survability
+ while having tons of damage (better than rushen a B.F. Sword and having no HP)
+ cheap, you can really get these items fast
+ always useable. Yeah even if you're losing. no if you're losing this is a good way out.
Cons:
- if enemys are fed, this build lack attackspeed (well if enemys are fed everyone is as good as countered)
- even it is cheap, you need to keep on farming to keep your AD up.
- max AD is at 300 (+/- 20). ok thats toally enough... u have survability
after that try to farm as much as possible to get:
Boots of Speed and Madred's Razors
now it's up to you, wether you buy:
Wriggle's Lantern or Mercury's Treads
But after these 2 Items the order stays the same:
The Brutalizer and then Phage. I found out that using this order is the most effective. before you get survability, the CD and ArPen + AD are way better.
Then the Trinity Force followed by Youmuu's Ghostblade.
In short:
Doran's Blade --> Mercury's Treads --> Wriggle's Lantern --> The Brutalizer --> Phage --> Trinity Force --> Last Whisper OR Madred's Bloodrazor --> Guardian Angel --> Hextech Gunblade OR The Bloodthirster
But there is another way to build the Longswordstyle.
This way is against an heavy AD Team:
Just like in the first way start with Doran's Blade.
Still get the Mercury's Treads and the Wriggle's Lantern.
But now not the The Brutelizer but the Madred's Bloodrazor and then the Phage!
In short:
Doran's Blade --> Mercury's Treads --> Wriggle's Lantern --> Madred's Bloodrazer --> Phage --> Trinity Force --> Guardian Angel --> Hextech Gunblade OR The Bloodthirster
Greater Mark of Desolation Greater Mark of Desolation 9x
Greater Quintessence of Desolation Greater Quintessence of Desolation 3x
With these and the masteries, our ArPen is 31 at lvl 1
Greater Seal of Defense Greater Seal of Defense 9x
Greater Glyph of Shielding 9x
These 2 provide us with good early survability and are even greater at mid/lategame
Shaco and Udyr can make a good use of that 15% magicpenetration, while it's just useless for Talon since he hasn't any magic damage skills.
And thus only Shaco need the 3 points on Lethality. Udyr and Talon won't crit much with this build.
And last the point on Ghost is selfexplaining.
The lvl 1 Jack in the Box is just for my playstyle. Even if you aren't AP Shaco, you can still do this **** into the brush. I always feel more usefull in lane with this instead of spamming Q and E, getting out of mana and myself into danger.
As for Talon W is just selfexplaining, just use W whenever the enemy is near, it's a spamable skill and doesn't consume much mana.
For Udyr...I'm not playing him very often, well Udyr is a really unique Champ, so I suggest: Just use your own favorite skill sequence. (But this is a Tigerbuild)
