First of all, If you really want to be a good adc, you're going to need to practice your champion a few games first. To successfully win your lane, you're going to need a good poking while farming correctly strategy. Remember not to push your lane, There are 3 reasons why you shouldn't.
1) Pushing your lane makes you very vulnerable to ganks by their jungler.
2) You get less farm because you're preventing creep waves coming to you
3) You're actually giving the enemy more farm purposely.

While farming, do not be afraid to use your Q to farm. I mean, what's the point of having mana and utility masteries if you don't use Q to farm more efficently! You can also use your Q to poke your enemy and scare them off which prevents them from farming so that you can be ahead in items.

The Pros about Ezreal is that he has alot of poke potential and does so much damage early game. That is, if you can actually land your Q's on your enemy. Ezreal has so much burst late game, He can just E Q W with a few of autoattacks and he will wreck anyone. His E is the best escape tool you can use to survive. It's basically a free flash every 10seconds :). His ult is AoE so it will be so useful in teamfights.

The cons about Ezreal is that he is very squishy. But hey, isn't every adc squishy? But he's actually the squishiest at level 1. In team fights, he usually gets focused down alot. That is why you have to stay in the back of your team. His E is great, however It can't prevent a champion who stuns him. If he does gets stunned, he will most likely die in a matter of seconds during team fights.
