Introduction

Hello guys, I have bought Vladimir when I was level 10, lost a lot of games with him, won some too, but never found a build that I liked, and once I got this crazy idea just for fun, lets use Vlad's passive and troll enemies, cuz well, they wont know what I am doing... And for my surprise... it worked. This guide is not for quick kills or momentarily becoming legendary, but it will give you some fun and will make you feel as the unstoppable bloodbender:) Let our Journey begin...

P.S. New guide reworks are coming i did new masteries im trying, and new item ideas, will get back to you with update. I will also update all sections for runes and items, not long after

P.P.S. Let me state this clear, this is not a troll build, second you are not a killer, you are soloing or midding, third people WILL call you a noob, but bear with me, it is a fun build, its different, so please open your mind and give it few tries.

Runes

Let me explain runes, before anyone starts flaming, so please keep your patience. These two first:

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Some may ask why take these runes and money generating items, but its essential, they help you get money faster right from the start, even if you farm solo top, mid lane, or stay as second player bot lane(these do happen when you get a team like that).

Runes

Sorcery
Phase Rush
Here where the real flame will start, not a single ap rune?! Yes not even one, and this makes you sustain better, trust me.

Summoner Spells

One of my favorites are these summoner spells, lets talk about them.

I prefer to stay solo top or mid, so after i get money i can go back and spend it and reenter lane fast, although you can always walk back to save it for later uses, and for viability late game if there is a need to save tower from minions or you need to join team fight fast its always nice to have this one

I don't think it needs a lot of explanation, its good for chase or escape if pool is not enough.
Plus one mastery point for both spells, yay :)

Time to explain my choice, if you find that you do it better the other way around, please do it, find your touch with our Hemomancer:

  • Crimson Pact (Passive): This is what gave me the whole idea for the this build, it gives you every 40 points of bonus HP becomes 1AP, and every 1 AP gives you 1,4 bonus HP. Sadly these bonuses do not stack with themselves.
  • Transfusion (Q): I love this skill, it good for last hitting, heals you, and you can harass enemy with it, but be careful not to overextend.
  • Sanguine Pool (W): Here i would like to give a link to greatest Sanguine Pool guide ever done by Incendiax many thanks to you. For this build Pool becomes main damaging tool, and kinda troll cuz you deal dmg, but don't get targeted.
  • Tides Of Blood (E): These is main farming late game so we max it second, it also gives you increased health regen, nice synergy with .
  • Hemoplague (R): These is The Ulti, use it in team fights, that way team can do more damage.

Items

New core is in debate for me yet.

Philosopher's StoneKage's Lucky Pick

This allows you to stay in lane, farm like mad, and without farming you get 3.525 gold per second.
P.S. The idea that Philosopher's Stone is a waste of money, because of the mana regen is short sighted, well, yeah Vladimir lacks mana, but this item makes up with HP regen and gold generation.

I don't think this needs explanation, you get AP, HP, and your spells slow enemies. Simple.

Glorious addition to the HP and with that awesome passive of yours you get some AP too.

Reason to get this one Armor, Hp(again), and nice burning passive.

This works with passive, Ap to Hp, and its passive makes your gained ap grow, also nice.

Also you may consider:

Visage for nice magic resist and HP Regen, nice in combination with Warmogs

Omen is nice too for more armor, HP and nice active.

If you want to be more damage oriented you should not forget to give enemies little Torment

Gameplay and team work

Early game you need to farm like nice good Bloodbender, don't overextend so their jungler wont have a chance to kill you. I promise to make this section bigger, and add some pics.

In the team fight you use on the enemies, slow them with 's passive combined with your , then use and slide under enemies for more slow and actual damage, after that use at your own accord, then repeat , and .

That's it for now :)

Ranked Play

*Will update with s3 rankeds*
This section will grow with time, for now some S2 goodies.
I was in mid against . He was very aggressive, but i stayed a bit back, last hitted when i could, and in team fights tried not to take kills, so our and fed alot :)
Another one of my ranked tries. This time i was solo top against , i bought dorans shield, he was aggressive, and tried to fb me, so i just pulled under him waited for and to cool down and voila,i had FB, after i was ganked by and he killed me under my tower, but tower picked up a kill for me. after that the usual, in team fights i try to help and so we fed well

Hello again, this one was i mid against , not the best players... but i had fun, we had a very good team, nice supporting from and , also this is what you call ELO HELL, so this build is viable in this place, hehe :)

To be continued...

For the last one This is one the best games with this build, although I did not get Radabon.

And again big thanks for Incendiax.

Credits to jhoijhoi for her awesome guide on making guides.
