Hey all! I’m Andrew (aka InsidiousRex) and this will probably be my first guide here on mobafire. I was a high ranked Diamond player and creating this guide for Lucian inspired me to make one, due to the fact I've been maining ADC for a while now and have a lot of experience in this role. I've been winning a lot of my games in ranked as ADC and maintaned a consistent good high win ratio in ranked.

So why play Lucian? Lucian is a brand new ADC Champion that was released recently as of August 20-21, 2013. I've played Lucian a lot in PBE for a while for the last 2 months and have experimented different kind of builds with him. I have to say that he has to be one of my favorite ADCs so far once I found the right suitable build for him that urged me to make him my next main ADC character. His unique passive Lightslinger makes him a great adc for poking, combined with the blue build, you can pretty much just spam your abilities and kite your opponents. With that being said, Lucian is a really unique adc and can be extremely fun to play with once you get to know how his abilities work.

Lucian can also be a really decent solo champ mid or top. You can expect a lot out of Lucian as a solo lane as his passive Lightslinger will be an annoying poke to deal with when you harass your enemy.

Pros

[*] Excellent poke and Harass with his passive Lightslinger
[*] Passive let's you scale into late game with Iceborn Gauntlet. The second attack from his passive activates Iceborn Gauntlet works well making an excellent kiting ability.
[*] Great clearing creep with Piercing Light and Ardent Blaze
[*] His Relentless Pursuit resets when The Culling kills a target

Cons

[*] Squishy
[*] No Crowd Control without building certain items like Iceborn Gauntlet Blade of the Ruined King
[*] Can't auto-attack while casting his ultimate The Culling
[*] Ultimate can be stopped from CC champs

The 21/9/0 is by far best option for Draven. Some builds on the masteries for Lucian isn't required for points to add in Cooldown in Offense for Sorcery which is not required for ADC Lucian who gets Iceborn Gauntlet and Ionian Boots of Lucidity which is enough Cooldown.
No points should be put in Utility, unless the type of playstyle you use for Lucian really requires you to add points into it.
