There are warriors who become great for their strength, cunning, or skill with arms. Others simply refuse to die.
Urgot, once a great soldier of Noxus, may constitute a case in support of the latter. Prone to diving headlong into enemy battle lines, Urgot sewed chaos throughout the enemy ranks, often sustaining grievous injuries in the process. When his body was unable to weather further abuse, the crippled
Urgot was delegated the position of High Executioner of Noxus. By this time, his hands had been ruined and he could barely walk. Scythe-like grafts affixed to his maimed limbs served to carry out his bloody work.
Urgot finally met his end at what should have been his finest hour. Because of his military background, he often accompanied detachments into foreign territory to carry out judgment. After ambushing an enemy force,
Jarvan IV, the Crown Prince of Demacia, fell into the clutches of
Urgot's division. Too far from Noxus to risk transporting their prize for ransom,
Urgot prepared to dispose of their captive. At the final moment, however, the Dauntless Vanguard, led by
Garen, the Might of Demacia, intervened, and
Urgot was cut in two by the zealous warrior as he scrambled to free his Prince. In recognition of his service, the executioner's remains were remanded to the Bleak Academy for reanimation. A lifetime of abuse, however, had left his body in a catastrophic state; proving problematic to the necromancers' craft. Professor Stanwick Pididly, the prevailing scholar of Zaun, offered a solution. Within Pididly's laboratories, a nightmarish new body was forged for
Urgot. Now as much machine as man,
Urgot arrived at the League of Legends in search of the man who ended his life; necromantic energies coursing through his metal veins.

Remember that although

Using

Stacking high amounts of attack damage on
Urgot will make his
Acid Hunter and basic attacks more powerful.
Manamune is a great first item on
Urgot since it gives him attack damage and helps solve his mana problems.
The Brutalizer is a fantastic early item on
Urgot since attack damage, armor penetration, and cooldown reduction are the exact things he needs to increase his damage, which is strongest early/mid game.
Bloodthirster is a good late-game item since life steal is valuable to boost survivability.
Other standard attack damage items such as
Infinity Edge and
Black Cleaver are not as effective since
Urgot's main damage source,
Acid Hunter, cannot crit and does not apply on-hit effects.
Last Whisper is also a good late-game item if the enemy team is building armor to counter you.
Urgot can be mana-hungry in the early laning stage, but buying
Tear of the Goddess should eliminate mana problems for the rest of the game. If you decide not to focus your build around picking up the
Manamune early, other mana regeneration sources are recommended.
Guardian Angel can be an effective defensive item for
Urgot as his
Terror Capacitor can offer the additional time necessary for a last escape, or give you time for cooldowns to refresh so you can quickly focus down low health enemies who linger nearby.
Trinity Force is a strong if unorthodox item on
Urgot. Although it does little for your long-range
Acid Hunter combo,
Trinity Force greatly increases his presence in close combat due to constant
Sheen procs.
Glacial Shroud is a good defensive item on
Urgot since it increases your mana pool
(usually yielding more damage via
Manamune) , makes
Urgot more tanky, and gives highly-desired cooldown reduction.
Attack damage items are worth buying for the early phase of the game; however, due to the risk of using his ultimate in lategame, it is recommended to build some survivability items afterwards.
Cooldown reduction can let
Urgot fire more locked-on Acid Hunters before the
Noxian Corrosive Charge debuff fades. With no CDR, he can fire 2 shots per lock on. With 16.7% CDR, he can fire 3. With 37.5% CDR, he can fire 4. However, the above values are mathematical and do not take into account input lag or delay.
In practice, 30% cooldown reduction makes it easy to shoot 4
Acid Hunters per
Noxian Corrosive Charge. One of the cheapest ways to obtain this is through having
The Brutalizer,
Ionian Boots of Lucidity and CDR masteries.
CDR is invaluable for
Urgot's other skills as well, granting more temporary durability through
Terror Capacitor and a longer debuff uptime for
Noxian Corrosive Charge.
While
Urgot benefits greatly from Spellvamp, it's usually not worth it investing into
Hextech Revolver. Try to get one of your teammates to buy
Will of the Ancients instead.
Glacial Shroud is a effective mid game item for
Urgot as it armor helps him as a counter to ad carries and the mana and cooldown reduction help him spam his
Acid Hunter and it's upgrade
Frozen Heart is effective for that same purpose late game.

After having tier 2 boots and
The Brutalizer and maybe something like
Vampiric Scepter or something else, you should've entered your mid-game.
Buy
Bloodthirster as soon as possible, then Manamune. You should have alot of damage now, and be able to kill the your opponents.
