Lore

There are warriors who become great for their strength, cunning, or skill with arms. Others simply refuse to die. Urgot, once a great soldier of Noxus, may constitute a case in support of the latter. Prone to diving headlong into enemy battle lines, Urgot sewed chaos throughout the enemy ranks, often sustaining grievous injuries in the process. When his body was unable to weather further abuse, the crippled Urgot was delegated the position of High Executioner of Noxus. By this time, his hands had been ruined and he could barely walk. Scythe-like grafts affixed to his maimed limbs served to carry out his bloody work.

Urgot finally met his end at what should have been his finest hour. Because of his military background, he often accompanied detachments into foreign territory to carry out judgment. After ambushing an enemy force, Jarvan IV, the Crown Prince of Demacia, fell into the clutches of Urgot's division. Too far from Noxus to risk transporting their prize for ransom, Urgot prepared to dispose of their captive. At the final moment, however, the Dauntless Vanguard, led by Garen, the Might of Demacia, intervened, and Urgot was cut in two by the zealous warrior as he scrambled to free his Prince. In recognition of his service, the executioner's remains were remanded to the Bleak Academy for reanimation. A lifetime of abuse, however, had left his body in a catastrophic state; proving problematic to the necromancers' craft. Professor Stanwick Pididly, the prevailing scholar of Zaun, offered a solution. Within Pididly's laboratories, a nightmarish new body was forged for Urgot. Now as much machine as man, Urgot arrived at the League of Legends in search of the man who ended his life; necromantic energies coursing through his metal veins.

"We can rebuild him. We have the techmaturgy."
Professor Stanwick Pididly

Abilities

Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmenter (Passive): Urgot's autoattacks and Acid Hunter reduce all damage that his target deals by 15% for 2.5 seconds.

Acid Hunter:
Urgot fires a missile in a line towards the cursor, dealing physical damage to the first enemy it hits. His passive is also applied to the target.
Missile-lock can be achieved by holding the cursor over a unit afflicted by Noxian Corrosive Charge when casting, causing Acid Hunter to fly directly to the target ignoring other units. It will lock onto invisible units afflicted by Noxian Corrosive Charge including mushrooms, but it will not reveal targets hit.

Cost: 40 mana
Cooldown: 2 seconds
Range: 1000
Physical Damage: 10 / 40 / 70 / 100 / 130 (+0.85 per attack damage)

Terror Capacitor: Urgot charges up his capacitor to gain a shield that absorbs damage for 7 seconds. While the shield is active, Urgot's autoattacks and Acid Hunter missiles will slow targets for 1.5 seconds.

Cost: 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 mana
Cooldown: 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 seconds
Shield Strength: 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 (+0.8 per ability power)
Slow: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40%

Noxian Corrosive Charge:
Urgot launches a corrosive charge at a target location, afflicting all targets hit. Enemies afflicted by the charge have their armor reduced by a percentage for 5 seconds and take physical damage over the duration.

Cooldown: 11 seconds
Range To Center Of AoE: 950
Radius: 300
Cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 mana
Total Physical Damage: 75 / 130 / 185 / 240 / 295 (+0.6 per bonus attack damage)
Armor Reduction: 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20%

Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser:
Urgot targets an enemy champion and channels for 1 second, suppressing the target for the duration. If the channel completes, Urgot and the target will swap positions and the target will be slowed by 40% for 3 seconds. Urgot also gains bonus armor and magic resistance for 5 seconds, starting from the beginning of the channel time.

Cost: 120 mana
Cooldown: 120 seconds
Range: 700 / 775 / 850
Bonus Armor and Magic Resist: 60 / 90 / 120

NOTES:
Acid Hunter can lock on to targets in brush/out-of-sight, however you are still required to place the cursor over them to achieve the lock.
If Terror Capacitor is activated while an Acid Hunter or auto attack is mid-flight, it will slow on impact.
Noxian Corrosive Charge provides an instance of vision on cast.
If an enemy has been locked-on by Noxian Corrosive Charge, the range of Acid Hunter is
longer than the one listed.

Ability details

Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmenter is a passive ability. Urgot's autoattacks or Acid Hunter apply a debuff to enemy units hit for 2.5 seconds that reduces physical and magic damage it deals by 15%. Subsequent auto-attacks or Acid Hunter hits refresh the duration.
Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmenter does not reduce true damage.

Acid Hunter is a cursor targeted collision linear skillshot that deals physical damage to the first enemy unit it hits.
If the cursor is held over an enemy unit debuffed with Noxian Corrosive Charge, the mechanics of Acid Hunter change. This activation is a single target ability that sends a missile directly at the targeted unit, dealing physical damage on impact.
Acid Hunter does not proc on-hit effects.
Acid Hunter procs spell vamp and Rylai's Crystal Scepter slow similarly with all single target spells and abilities with full effect.
Acid Hunter pops spell shield.
Acid Hunter will not damage Black Shield.
The secondary form of Acid Hunter does not need vision of the target to activate; as long as the cursor is targeting an enemy debuffed by Noxian Corrosive Charge and they are within the ability's radius around Urgot, they can activate the missile lock-on.
Stealthed units can also be targeted by Acid Hunter.
Acid Hunter has slightly increased casting range on units debuffed with Noxian Corrosive Charge

Terror Capacitor is a self-target ability that applies an absorption shield to Urgot for up to 7 seconds. While the shield is active, Urgot's autoattack and Acid Hunter projectiles also slow enemy units hit for 1.5 seconds. Subsequent auto-attacks or Acid Hunter hits refresh the duration of the slow.
Terror Capacitor has no cast time and does not interrupt Urgot's previous orders.
Terror Capacitor may be activated while channeling Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser.
If Terror Capacitor is activated while auto-attack or Acid Hunter projectiles are mid-flight, they will still apply the slow on impact.
Black Shield will not be damaged by either auto-attacks or Acid Hunter, but if Terror Capacitor is active Black Shield will negate the slow.

Noxian Corrosive Charge is a ground targeted area of effect skillshot that fires a charge at the target location, debuffing enemy units within the area on impact for 5 seconds. Debuffed units have their armor reduced by a percentage, take physical damage every second, and can be targeted for Acid Hunter's secondary casting mechanic. Noxian Corrosive Charge procs spell vamp and Rylai's Crystal Scepter's slow similarly with all area of effect spells and abilities with diminished effect.
Noxian Corrosive Charge pops spell shield.
Noxian Corrosive Charge will not damage Black Shield.
Vision is granted in an area around the targeted location upon cast, lasting for 1 second.
If a debuffed unit's armor changes, the armor reduction will adjust itself accordingly.

Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser is a single target channeling ability that increases Urgot's armor and magic resistance for 5 seconds, and initiates a channel for 1 second which suppresses the target for the duration. If the channel completes, Urgot blinks to the target's location while the target blinks to Urgot's. The target's movement speed is also slowed for 3 seconds. Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser pops spell shields, but if the channel completes the target will still be moved and slowed.
Crowd control immunity such as Black Shield or Ragnarok will prevent the suppression effect, but if the channel completes the target will still be moved. Gangplank can use Remove Scurvy to remove the suppression, but will still be moved.

Skill Usage

Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmenter is a strong debuff that can save your team from a lot of damage. Focus Vayne or that fed Graves.
Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmenter makes Urgot hard to kill in a 1v1 fight, especially if he is built tanky.
Try to apply Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmenter on an enemy carry during a teamfight to reduce their overall damage output.

Prior to firing Acid Hunter, try hovering over an enemy afflicted by Noxian Corrosive Charge. Upon launching, the Acid Hunter will ignore all other enemies and fly directly to the corroding target.
A locked-on Acid Hunter has incredible range and can hit even if the target is not visible to you, being in brush, the fog of war and even in stealth.
Acid Hunter can hit through walls, giving an unexpected attack with a suprising amount of damage.
Acid Hunter has good range and hits unarmored targets hard even when not locked-on. Getting in the habit of using the skill shot occasionally, even when Noxian Corrosive Charge isn't necessary applied, helps to throw enemies off of their rhythm and makes you a threat even when your lock-on fails or wears off.

As your slow is dependent on your shield's remaining active, consider putting ranks into Terror Capacitor to provide Urgot with a crippling slow, better chances of maintaining it and greater durability in skirmishes.
Noxian Corrosive Charge is capable of revealing fog of war. Use it to scout without risk.
His Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser should be used to pull enemies right into ganks and towers, but it also has a use in escaping should your escape path be blocked by an enemy. Whenever there are any squishy targets on the other team, use Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser to swap them into your team to get an easy kill.
Remember that although Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser grants armor and magic resist, you are not invincible. Take note of nearby towers or enemy champions that can burst you down before its channel is complete.
Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser suppresses the target while channeling, so it can be used for deterring an enemy's escape for your team to finish off your target. It can also be used to stop channeling spells of your opponent.

Using Terror Capacitor with Acid Hunter can allow you to quickly catch fleeing opponents or deter individual pursuers.
Urgot's skillset makes him most effective in eliminating the enemy team's carries, but don't overestimate his toughness. In general, it is a good idea to keep your distance from DPS champions until they have been weakened or separated.
Urgot's Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser can be used over walls to pull an enemy through it, provided that he can see the enemy. This can be used offensively and defensively either when you are being chased, ganking in the jungle, or caught in a teamfight.

Build Usage

Stacking high amounts of attack damage on Urgot will make his Acid Hunter and basic attacks more powerful.
Manamune is a great first item on Urgot since it gives him attack damage and helps solve his mana problems.
The Brutalizer is a fantastic early item on Urgot since attack damage, armor penetration, and cooldown reduction are the exact things he needs to increase his damage, which is strongest early/mid game.
Bloodthirster is a good late-game item since life steal is valuable to boost survivability.
Other standard attack damage items such as Infinity Edge and Black Cleaver are not as effective since Urgot's main damage source, Acid Hunter, cannot crit and does not apply on-hit effects.

Last Whisper is also a good late-game item if the enemy team is building armor to counter you.
Urgot can be mana-hungry in the early laning stage, but buying Tear of the Goddess should eliminate mana problems for the rest of the game. If you decide not to focus your build around picking up the Manamune early, other mana regeneration sources are recommended.
Guardian Angel can be an effective defensive item for Urgot as his Terror Capacitor can offer the additional time necessary for a last escape, or give you time for cooldowns to refresh so you can quickly focus down low health enemies who linger nearby.
Trinity Force is a strong if unorthodox item on Urgot. Although it does little for your long-range Acid Hunter combo, Trinity Force greatly increases his presence in close combat due to constant Sheen procs.
Glacial Shroud is a good defensive item on Urgot since it increases your mana pool
(usually yielding more damage via Manamune) , makes Urgot more tanky, and gives highly-desired cooldown reduction.
Attack damage items are worth buying for the early phase of the game; however, due to the risk of using his ultimate in lategame, it is recommended to build some survivability items afterwards.
Cooldown reduction can let Urgot fire more locked-on Acid Hunters before the Noxian Corrosive Charge debuff fades. With no CDR, he can fire 2 shots per lock on. With 16.7% CDR, he can fire 3. With 37.5% CDR, he can fire 4. However, the above values are mathematical and do not take into account input lag or delay.
In practice, 30% cooldown reduction makes it easy to shoot 4 Acid Hunters per Noxian Corrosive Charge. One of the cheapest ways to obtain this is through having The Brutalizer, Ionian Boots of Lucidity and CDR masteries.
CDR is invaluable for Urgot's other skills as well, granting more temporary durability through Terror Capacitor and a longer debuff uptime for Noxian Corrosive Charge.

While Urgot benefits greatly from Spellvamp, it's usually not worth it investing into Hextech Revolver. Try to get one of your teammates to buy Will of the Ancients instead.
Glacial Shroud is a effective mid game item for Urgot as it armor helps him as a counter to ad carries and the mana and cooldown reduction help him spam his Acid Hunter and it's upgrade Frozen Heart is effective for that same purpose late game.

Early Game

Start with Boots and three Health Potion's.
You can try starting with Doran's Blade if you got a support than can give you alot health fx. Soraka.
You can also try Meki Pendant and two Health Potion if you want to spam your Acid Hunter more.

Now after some minutes of farming, you should have about 1300-1600g. If you have over 1337g, buy The Brutalizer and some Health Potion, and a Sight Ward, if your support dont have the gold, or is still in lane with no wards.
