Introduction
I chose 21-9-0 for my masteries because that is the only way to play Diana in the jungle. Without these masteries, Diana could not be a successful jungler, she simply does not have the sustain required to do it. Important notes on the masteries would be that Arcane Blade CAN be used for both builds, but it is better for devourer Diana who can do insane amounts of On-Hit damage in short amounts of time. Blade Weaving is a must have on Diana for one reason. Her W, the shield, when activated gives you 3 little spirit orbs that float around you for a time and give you a shield. When each orb breaks against an enemy it does a bit of damage. When all 3 orbs are broken, you will gain a little more to your shield. Blade Weaving will proc off of each orb hit, so you will have 3 stacks of Blade Weaving on an enemy ready for you to slaughter them with your passive procs.
I chose these specific items because of how I normally build Diana. These are all items I find come in handy depending on the situation I'm in. A more advanced build would be something like this: Stalker's Blade - Sated Devourer, Ionian Boots of Lucidity - Homeguard, Luden's Echo, Nashor's Tooth, The Bloodthirster, Zhonya's Hourglass. That is a build I am commonly seen using in Ranked Play as Diana. However, if you plan on playing Ranked Play with Devourer Diana, I suggest you take a long while to get used to the play style you need to use with that build before you attempt to play Ranked.
Believe it or not, Diana's skill sequence really does matter. You must ALWAYS start her W when you are going into the jungle. The ONLY exception is if you are going for a level 1 invade or gank. In those cases, you will start your E and initiate with Flash into your E. Diana's Q is her hardest ability because it is her skill shot. The thing you need to realize about her skill shot is that it doesn't go in a straight line, so you have to time and position it just correctly to hit your enemy with it, due to the curve it has. 90% of the time, when you want to kill someone, you will land your Q, activate your W, use your R, use your E, use your Q again (if it is off of cooldown) and finish them off with R. One of the mechanics that a lot of people are confused about with Diana is that, when she is using her R, there is a small timeframe in which she becomes untargetable. Use this to your advantage when you're in 1 on 1 with a skill shot champion such as Ezreal or a ground-target burst champion like Syndra. Another way to take advantage of it is dodging a Karthus R.
Team work is an absolute MUST for ANY Diana. If your ganks are not coordinated or you do not get a leash, there is a HIGH chance you will fall off early game. I cannot stress the importance of teamwork enough when it comes to Diana. If you aren't a team player, then Diana isn't the champion for you.
Only a couple tips about farming. Always be aware of your cooldowns, health, and mana. If you die in a jungle camp, you will get behind really quick. Always watch your W especially, because it is where most of your sustain in the jungle comes from. If you are below 400 HP around levels 1-8 don't try to start a jungle camp, it will not go in your favor unless you bought armor. Last tip. Always auto-attack once or twice in between each ability. This will ensure that you get the most out of your passive and maximize your damage output.
