In general, Gragas is not a good lainer but manages to hold on to the top laine, win a lot of effort with a lot of laines and in the lait game you make a lot of difference, with as much rod and mana ability you can spamar skills, with a more tank build you you can do the forehead, with example 1 your focus is more on side some pick off and combos in the team fight. It is difficult to say the purpose of gragas until you see the build being completed, so you are free to change the items according to the game.

Now against the champions... Until you have confidence in your skills with Gragas this build is bad, since it depends on the notion of the game (or you play in a low link and win them all as it is in my case), at all so the full tank build is much better but doesn’t give as much damage, the full damage build is good but doesn’t have a rod ability or can handle enough in the early - mid game.

Just try not to feed the enemy top, make some highlights and have fun... that's why I play Gragas, for fun.

I'm some gold in one of the worst regions of League of Legends (Brazil), but I like to play Gragas and you know, combos... scream in my friends' ears and just try to have a few laughs. Take a gank and kill the 2 idiots, play against Sett and cry the whole game, finish 1/15 and say "top ez".
