Green Gauntlet Ezreal - Unranked Master Build

Introduction
Hello all, I am an unranked player that fancies playing off-meta builds, this is my first guide on this site so I hope you'll be forgiving that is not too in-depth. If you have any questions leave a comment and I'll try to clear doubts ;)
PROS
+ Easy to stack runes and items
+ High poke and kill potential
+ Constant pressure on enemies
+ Easy ways to escape ganks
CONS
- Can't tank like a real tank/bruiser
- No practical tool to push waves and shove them
- No tool to de-crash incoming waves
- Against a half good top main you will have a bad time
Runes
The Runes that I normally use are:

Primarily the Resolve tree:

Grasp of the Undying
Is easy to abuse since Ezreal can activate it with his Q Mystic Shot, on top of that you can farm HP easily too since most top champions are melee. Unluckily since Ezreal is ranged the Health you gain from Grasp is not that much (only 3 hp), but slowly you'll see your health bar getting beefier and beefier.


Demolish
It will be pretty easy burning your enemy's spells during the laning phase pushing them out of lane, so you can go for some early plating.


Bone Plating
This is the get out of prison for free card (Monopoly reference) when you are playing against a high burst damage enemy. It will allow you to survive most of the combos so you have time to E Arcane Shift out of there.



Overgrowth
I normally use this to amplify the health gain during laning phase allowing you to deal that little bit more damage once you have items.



Secondary the Precision tree:

Presence of Mind
To avoid mana problems during long trades and before closing Manamune or Essence Reaver (in case you choose the secondary build).


Coup de Grace
Useful to execute the enemy avoiding leaving the enemy escape with low hp.





Optional Secondary the Sorcery Tree:

Manaflow Band and Scorch - Their usage is very similar to their counterpart in the Precision tree, the difference is that it will let you scale more on Manamune damage in late.
Alternative - Poke Capitalist Ezreal
So... you want to crush your enemies under the heavy weight of Capitalism?
Use you economic supremacy and your advantage in items to burst down your enemies to the ground.
Primary the Inspiration tree:

First Strike
Poke your enemies the more you can with W-Auto and W-Q combos in order to gain a rapidly gold advantage over your enemies, and to capitalize at maximum power start with the Cull and focus mainly on farming and poking.


Magical Footwear
Not much to say about this, useful to avoid spending 300 gold in the early game, better if you can pick up a kill or two early. You can swap it with Perfect Timing if you are against a reckless opponent that plays an all-in champion.


Future's Market
It's time to make some debt!! This is a wonderful rune to take with Ezreal since you can get to his items power spike much faster.


Cosmic Insight
Useful for that Spell Haste (more ignites = more early kills = MORE GOLD!) and in case you choose the Iceborn Gauntlet build, you will spam that AoE slow zone and magic damage.



Secondary the Sorcery tree:

Manaflow Band
Mostly to avoid a no mana situation during fights.


Scorch
To increase the First Strike income during the early game pokes and executing low HP enemies.
Summoner Spells

SUMMONER SPELLS
-
FLASH: In most cases, this is a rune that you have to take 100%. Some people decide to rely on Ezreal's E Arcane Shift, but its long CD makes it very risky to depend on it. Flash will save you in the most difficult situations.
IGNITE:This is a very useful rune since it can grant many kills during early laning phase. It can allow you to even execute enemies that are running away with low health.
TELEPORT:This would help you to gain lane dominance since you will easily overfarm your opponent. And thanks to it you can help other lanes teleporting at the right time, being decisive in early fights.


Ignite & Teleport - This combination gives you incredible pressure in lane, since you can easily push your opponent out of lane and even kill them if they are too bold. This will demand you to save your E Arcane Shift the more you can as it is your only way to escape.
Ezreal's Abilities
Passive: Rising Spell Force
Ezreal's abilities grant a stack of Rising Spell Force for each enemy hit, stacking up to 5 times and lasting for 6 seconds, refreshing the duration on subsequent hits.


Mystic Shot
Ezreal fires a bolt of energy in the target direction that deals physical damage to the first enemy hit and applies On-hit on-hit and on-attack effects at 100% effectiveness.
If Mystic Shot successfully hits an enemy, Ezreal's abilities' cooldowns are reduced by 1.5 seconds (including Mystic Shot's).
Remember that Mystic Shot can activate Grasp of the Undying.


Essence Flux
Ezreal fires an orb in the target direction that marks the first enemy champion, epic monster, or structure hit for 4 seconds.
His next basic attack or ability against the target detonates the mark, dealing them magic damage.
If the mark was detonated with an ability, Ezreal restores the mana cost of that ability plus 60 mana.


Arcane Shift
After the cast time, Ezreal blinks from his current location up to 475 units towards the target location, firing a homing bolt that deals magic damage to the nearest enemy and briefly reveals them.
Arcane Shift prioritizes targets hit by Essence Flux.


Trueshot Barrage
Ezreal fires an energy projectile in the target direction, which briefly grants sight of the area it flies through and deals magic damage to enemies hit.
Minions and non-epic monsters take 50% reduced damage.



COMBOS
-

Combos:
Essence Flux > Mystic Shot
Manly used for poke, and to maximize Mystic Shot's damage.

Essence Flux > Auto
Same as the previous combo, use it to poke the enemy laner.

Essence Flux > Arcane Shift
I like to use this to make an unexpected all-in, or to execute a low health enemy (AKA useful to steal kills)

Essence Flux > Trueshot Barrage
High damage combo that can easily chunk half of the health of a squishy enemy. (Don't miss this combo or you'll look like a fool)

Arcane Shift > Essence Flux > Mystic Shot
This combo is a bit difficult to pull out at the beginning, but once you get going it would be a fantastic way to snipe your enemies down. Use Arcane Shift to adjust your positioning granting you a clean hit.

Arcane Shift > Essence Flux > Trueshot Barrage
Similar to the previous combo, I mainly use it to execute enemies that are running away. Pretty easy to land if the opponent doesn't have Flash (or any other dash) up.

There are many other Combos, but these are the most basic. Get creative with it and burst 'em down with your constant poke.
Core Items
  • DIVINE SUNDERER
  • Divine Sunderer:Not much to say about this, without a doubt the best mythic you can buy with Ezreal, and its anti-tank properties make it perfect for this build since on the top side you will probably find high HP enemies.
  • MURAMANA
  • Muramana: A must-do with practically every Ezreal build. It's raw Attack Damage synergies just too well with your abilities ratios making your Mystic Shot even stronger than it already is. Not to mention the fact that it will dramatically increase your mana-pool allowing you to spam your abilities without having to care too much about remaining without mana.
  • TITANIC HYDRA
  • Titanic Hydra: This item synergies very well with this build since you will have a high HP ( Titanic Hydra's shock wave damage scales with HP) and it will give you a crazy amount of wave clear. In addition, this item will make you quite beefy while still being able to deal a massive amount of damage.
  • IONIAN BOOTS
  • Ionian Boots of Lucidity: You need the Haste that these boots provide in order to poke as much as possible and in order to have low cooldown summoner spells.
Alternative Core Items
With this build you will be much tankier, but you will deal much less damage.

  • FROSTFIRE GAUNTLET
  • Iceborn Gauntlet: I like it mostly for the Mythic Passive and for the Slow Zone you create. Thanks to the new rework of this item now make sense to do it in this build.
  • MURAMANA
  • Muramana: A must-do with practically every Ezreal build. It's raw Attack Damage synergies just too well with your abilities ratios making your Mystic Shot even stronger than it already is. Not to mention the fact that it will dramatically increase your mana-pool allowing you to spam your abilities without having to care too much about remaining without mana.
  • DEMONIC EMBRACE
  • Demonic Embrace: It might seem strange to build this item... but its not bad combined with Iceborn Gauntlet: your slow zone will set your enemies on fire since it deals magic damage and Ezreal's abilities scale with AP too, so you will not waste the item's stats.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I tell you to go out there and follow the compass in your heart!!!! Ezreal is a very fun champion that will reward you for being creative and cocky, so risk it for the biscuit.
However, remember that you will NOT be a proper tank, so you can't be at the front line without caring about the damage you take. But you can easily make your opponents rage and tilt in duels as you are still being a high damage champion that will be difficult to take down.
