Hey guys this is my first build and guide on Mobafire. Note this is my personal build that has worked in every game. Opinons and comments are welcome.

I think Jax is the best champion in league of legends. Nobody can beat him in 1 on 1, of course provided if you can play him. His sustain in combination with damage is just crazy with Master-At-Arms and Counter Strike. It´s a lot of fun to play him cause he can deal tons of damage with Trinity Force and can chase down every champ with Hextech Gunblade and Leap Strike. Nobody can escape from

Relentless Assault
This is Jax strong passiv. It increases your attack speed with every autoattack by % value and stacks up to 6 times! The value increases every 3 levels.

- 1-3 : 4% attack speed bonus (total bonus is 24%)
- 4-6 : 6% attack speed bonus (total bonus is 36%)
- 7-9 : 8% attack speed bonus (total bonus is 48%)
- 10-12 : 10% attack speed bonus (total bonus is 60%)
- 13-15 : 12% attack speed bonus (total bonus is 72%)
- 16-18 : 14% attack speed bonus (total bonus is 84%, that is 1,5x attack speed bonus from ( Phantom Dancer)

Leap Strike
This is Jax close gap spell. With this spell you can chase an enemy or run from it. You can target friendly units like champions, wards or even mushrooms. It´s your engage and disengage ability.

Empower
It´s his strongest Ability cause it has the shortest cooldown, means the most damage. It charge your lamppost so your next autoattack or Leap Strike deals bonus magic damage. Empower also resets your autoattack timer so you can make combo like: autoattack, W, autoattack.

Counter Strike
This Ability is what makes Jax OP. It blocks all incoming basic attacks and ruduce all AOE damage by 25%. After 2 seconds it automatically stuns the enemy around you and deals physical damage. After 1 second you can activate it again to stun the enemy earlier.

Grandmaster's Might
Grandmaster's Might is Jax ultimate. Passivly every third autoattack deals bonus magic damage. This allows you to deal huge damage with combos like: AA, W + Sheen damage proc, DISCHHH.

Additionally you can activate it to increase massively your:
- armor based on your AD +
- magic resist based on your AP
Activate it in all in trades or in teamfights for longer survival time.

This is the standard rune build.

- 14.94 Armor Pentration for more damage output
- 12.69 Armor for more early game sustain
- 24.30 Magic Resist for more late game sustain
- 6.75 Attack Damage for early damage boost

Creep is your bred and butter because Jax is very dependent on his items. Its very important that you get a big amount of CS before you roam.

Start:

It's hard to farm with Jax in early game because he is a melee and can get harassed. Don't allow your enemy to poke you all day long! If you lane against Pantheon and he throw his Spear Shot jump on him and fight! If you lose trades of get killed just buy an early Giant's Belt. Farm with AA and Empower.

Lv 6:

Harass your opponents with your full combo ( Counter Strike, Leap Strike and Empower) and farm with the passiv from Master-At-Arms. It's very important to place Sight Wards and to pay attention for ganks. If somebody ganks you try to jump back to a minion with Leap Strike and block AA with Counter Strike.

Late Game:

Don't forget about your tower and creeps after your laning phase! Help your Team in team fights push the lanes. Jax is a Turret destroyer machine and you should keep this in your head. Blue buff and Zephyr helps you a lot to protect or destroy towers and to clear big minion waves.
