Ahri

OMG! That fox is annoying! I would say she is probably one of your best counter mid (althought I find that ''counter'' doesn't exist when you know your champion and the champion your facing!)Read the chapter ''Counter! does it even exist?'' for more details. You need to dodge her charm if she hits you and she has DFG! your a dead man a she will outburst you and you wont be able to get away because of ult!
The problem facing her is that if she plays smart she's gonna keep her charm until you try to charge her in melee form with your Q but at that precise moment you are ULTRA ULTRA vulnerable to ahri charm, your like the easiest targer ever since you will jump just in front of her in a straight line! She also outsubstain you she is really your best counter but once she missed her charm your free to go for a couple second like any other AP caster! So despite being a though lane it still is a winnable lane!

Akali

Before lvl 6 (or should i say before she can stack her ult and have 2 charges) you WILL wreck her after she has 2 stacked ult you must be scared of her burst of she will kill you, try to play near your tower and try to poke her as much as you can before going all in for the kill! Don't forget to bring a PINK WARD in lane!!!

Anivia

Care of her damage pre lvl 3 if she combo you and care of her passive and this should be a really easy lane! Dodge her skillshot and you should wreck her!

Annie

This is a pretty tied match up! She as huge burst as Jayce does, but she has a long range stun and if she's playing well she should keep it charge 90% of the time otherwise go all in! This lane will require you to get some early Magic Resist in the form of the Magic resis boots (Tenacity OP in that situation) and you could also get a banshee pretty early because she is pretty squishy and even without a lot of AD (Damage items) you should be able to kill her by poking her and then going all-in when the opportunity présents!

Brand

Brand is annyoying i must admit but he you dodge his skillshot he is only poorer version of annie! AS annie can target stun and brand his a skillshot or double skillshot i would say since you have to be ablaze to get stun by his Q!

Cassiopeia

This lane is all about 3 things!
1- Dodge 2- Dodge 3-Dodge ***4- Care of her ult!

Ezreal

He's easy but his escape is annoying

Fiddlesticks

Pretty rare but pretty easy! If he fear you and start draining you if you have enough health Q him in melee form followed by your E to Knock him back and interrupt his drain and all-in him!

Fizz

Fizz with Katarina is my favorite match up mid as people tend to hate them because they are OP but as Jayce you will absolutly destroy them! Just dodge his ult and he doesn't have enought damage to outburst you and you will win everyfight and even when he try to go away you can Q to him in melee form or just E-Q in range form to snipe him and deal the killing blow!

Galio

Gragas

When he is AP mid i find him to be pretty easy to beat as you can get an early advantqge on him and snowball but Gragas as a tanky/bruiser Top is really annoying!

Heimerdinger

his skillshot are pretty easy to dodge and if he place his tower too near one of another you can E-Q and 1 shot his tower but make sure you do not go all-in when he has more than 2 tower near him because they hurt as ****! Exemple: if he has 3 turrets near him try to to get one down by autoattacking it in range form, try to take a second one right after by landing a Q on a second tower + 1 autoattack then when heimer goes near is third tower, which he will probably do to get a false sensation of security, quickly go in melee form and leap to him with his Q and activate your W because your Q and W is AOE you will put down his third tower, now you are free to proceed and kill him with the rest of your spells!

Karthus

Easy lane! Just dont get slowed! You can dodge his slow if he's near enough of his gate by leaping to him with your Q as he will jump over his gates! You can dodge a lot of skillshot that way!!

Kassadin

He's annoying but i'll will have to do more match up against him since he got nerf in the last patch!

LeBlanc

This match up is really thought because Leblanc has so much mobility and high burst! I take a early BANSHEE against her because if you negate one of her spell + reduce a part of her other spell damage with MR, she will not have enough damage to kill you but you will! Try to farm and play def! Once mid game go and wreck top and bot as you hae an awesome mid game!

Lissandra

Honestly I'll have to face her more to talk about her as I do not think i have ever played Jayce VS a Lissandra

Lux

She has a huge range that will annoy you but her skillshot are not to though to dodge and she is squishy! Just don't eat all her combo in your face because you will see she hurts!

Malzahar

Easy lane just care of his combo once he is lvl 6!

Orianna

Care of her, a well played orianna can be really thought but in general you should win this match up!

Syndra

It's a though lane i usually get early MR vs her. Her range is OP Plus her stun is probably the longest stun range in all the game but it's avoidable by positioning well! Positioning in this lane is the key to sucess as she as to be align her and her ball to swing it forward in a straigh line so you can counter that easily by making sure there is never a ball between you and her! Also care of her ult as it does an incredible amount of damage

Talon

You have more burst than him and more range than him so abuse that!

Teemo

Teemo is really easy past lvl 3 because he has a slight advantage in range and he has a silence so he could annoy you early but once you get like lvl 4 or 5 you have way enought damage to kill him and since 85% if the damage you'll put in the combo with be spell damage his blind won't affect you so much and you should be able to kill him easilly

Twisted Fate

Don't let him the chance to outpoke you, dodge his Q and it's an easy lane

Veigar

very easy! he counter AP you have none his stun is super easy to dodge plus you can leap out of his stun if he's close enough with your Q in melee form as it will jump over it!

Vel'Koz

If he lands a lot of skillshot its gonna be though otherwise he's like any AP caster = Squishy and low mobility!

Viktor

ACtually Victor is a pretty good counter to Jayce because when you try to full combo after you landed a E-Q in range form he just has to put his AOE stun in front of him to prevent you from going all-in on him or if you actually already leap to him he can stun you that unleash his ray plus his ult and his Q!

Xerath

If you read a couple of notes on champion match up against Jayce, you have probably understood at that point that all you need to do his dodge and xerath is no exception! I suggest you farming Undertower it's probably gonna be easier than trying to farm in the middle of the lane when you have 500 range except on 1 abitily when he has like 1100 range on all his skill! Luckily Jayce is a boss of undertower farming! I also suggest taking some early MR it helps a lot!

Yasuo

This match up is all about skills but i prefer facing him mid than top because the lane is a bit smaller in lenght! I'll explain more in detail in the match up section in my guide below! If you wanna win vs a yasuo it's all about your comprehension of your champion and his champion! I highly suggest you reading my match up section as I will give you some tips on how to win your lane vs yasuo!

Ziggs

Read xerath notes! they apply to ziggs too!

Zed

His huge mobility plus huge burst give him everything he needs to give jayce a hard match up! try to poke him with AA and E-Q combo the more you can once you see an opportunity press advantage but make sure you have enough health because if zed decide to trade with you espicially when his ult is Up your gonna lose the trade in term of damage! but if you had more health than him you can still come on top of the trade!

Zyra

I also play zyra a lot and believe me her plant hurts a lot! She has an surprinsingly amount of burst for a plant! Just DODGE and DESTROY her!

Katarina

You counter her in everyway possible! It's probably one of your easiest lane match up! Normally when i face her i'm like 4-0 and i have double her farm at the end of laning phase! Harasss her with AA everytimes she try to farm, the funniest thing is that when she ult you can simply go in melee mode and E her which his your Knockback and no more ult! The only thing you need to care about her is that she will try to roam 100% of the time because she won't be able to kill you so be sure to communicate with your teammates!
