Aphelios summery
can flash Moonshot in its 0.4s cast, attacking mark animation time scales with AS and range, doesn't use ammo, synergizes with Runaan's Hurricane Precision Onslaught procs Press the Attack easily, and has punish after kiting Binding Eclipse sets up for a guaranteed Moonshot and Moonlight Vigil hit a huge wave and a champion with Precision Duskwave then attack the Mark on that champion for damage Precision Sentry's position is most important to control teamfights and objectives, it can be set as a trap in a bush
consuming Resurgent Moonshot mark uses severum aa, unpredictable, pierces windwalls Runaan's Hurricane uses severum's passive, Onslaught reduces range to 410, and taunt doesn't alter targeting use Binding Eclipse before Onslaught for situational chase/escape after Onslaught use Phase, aa, and an instant Resurgent Duskwave for ideal combo, hit more heal more use Resurgent Sentry when threatened from crowd control for extra heal and damage
Binding Moonshot can loop with Binding Eclipse early game if timed right Binding Onslaught is the best gap control ability, however avoid Rammus Runaan's Hurricane uses gravitum's passive, it ignores Spell Shield, Binding Eclipse has 0.3s cast animation if you hit multiple targets with Binding Duskwave line up the root to land a perfect Moonlight Vigil Binding Sentry *peashooter* is incredible for objective control, creates gaps to escape bad situations, can be set as bush traps
attacking Incediary Moonshot mark uses infernum projectile that deals damage on the way and behind the target Incendiary Onslaught's burst damage and healing allows for aggressive positioning auto attack multiple targets and use Binding Eclipse for an easier aa + Duskwave landing Runaan's Hurricane uses mini-infernum passive, Duskwave has calibrum's range on all angles, has 0.4s cast animation use Incendiary Sentry with Lethal Tempo for the big damage late game
attacking Arcing Moonshot mark uses Crescendum aa, increasing your mirrors by 1 and life span refreshes pair Arcing Onslaught with Guardian Angel late game, instantly Phase crescendum use Moonlight Vigil, Crescendum with Binding Eclipse and Phase to aa with crescendum use Arcing Duskwave on huge waves for instant mirrors, huge spike early game mirrors are destroyed if cres hit a windwall, Sentry can block skillshots, can't bypass windwall
cast Moonshot with Moonlight Vigil, Calibrum then aa twice as a surprise combo Moonlight Vigil, Severum can bait opponents when you are low health use Moonlight Vigil, Gravitum when fights last longer, or set up picks mix Moonlight Vigil, Infernum with Duskwave using Flash for the best damage Moonlight Vigil, Crescendum gets the fastest mirrors, it's great when you have gravitum
Rotation introduction

if you've read koog's guide you already know that there's an optimal weapon queue/rotation/cycle (i'll call it rotation)
which is:
calibrum gravitum
infernum severum crescendum

but you still don't use everything Aphelios can offer with a *single specific rotation*
so i am going to cover up all 5-weapon loop rotations aphelios can use
(there are other ways to making a rotation but i'll just bring up the one i came up with)

Why this guide? if you wanna Master optimizing how you are using your weapons to given situations, you need to know/practice every double/triple/quadruple weapon combination/sequences.
General rules will give you the summery of all combinations.

Not convinced? well, when you are using only 1 rotation you get stuck in a lot of scenarios where you don't know what to do because of a sub-optimal weapon combo, that means you wanna waste the weapon you don't want which can break your rotation.
when that happens you are already using a different playstyle/rotation and you crossed your territory of sticking to 1 rotation.
knowing how to play all of these rotations will help expand your knowledge on how to use 1 rotation in several ways.
General rules

choosing from your arsenal

i set a rule for myself to choose the weapons i wanna attack with as {M} main weapons and choose on the side {S} support weapons to set up a rotation, there wil be a weapon that will be used as {B} both support and main

a rotation shouldn't have 2 main weapons meet or 2 support weapons meet
so it looks either like |M-S-B-M-S| or |S-M-B-S-M|

double weapon combos

-you want to think about what set of main/off hand weapons you want in a game

for example: your enemy team is an attack comp, so you want combinations that excel in picking out key targets to break their comp, that means you want to pair gravitum with calibrum and severum for the best catching combos

another example is if you are in a team that makes best out of splitting then you want 1v1 pairing like crescendum with severum or a disengage pairing like crescendum with gravitum

early-mid-late game weapon usage

in early you want to drop your weapon according to what the match up is and how the lane is going
(it doesn't have to be always severum first)

-how to know what weapons you wanna drop ?

you just want to keep the better weapon in your hand and drop the other
or you want to set up a powerful weapon combination that you are going to benefit from against a certain matchup
(check spoiler to see what i came up with)

in mid game you start crafting a rotation that fits in that game's fights

late game is the same as mid game but you focus more on survivability

Spoiler: Click to view

-the triple weapon combinations you want in a game shapes your rotation
(ignore quadruple combos since they aren't that usable, except infernum gravitum on low ammo)

Spoiler: Click to view

ult usage

- Moonlight Vigil is essentially Alune being your 6th weapon when you are "disarmed" during dropping a weapon
-this means this is going to enhance triple combos' execution

-if you are getting crescendum after dropping a weapon it's usually a good Moonlight Vigil timing
-if you are getting severum after a drop it's good Moonlight Vigil timing if you are going low
- infernum surprise Moonlight Vigil timing is the best in teamfights to get your damage going
- calibrum surprise Moonlight Vigil timing is best for last tick damage on your opponent, or when you stack crescendum before it

weapon management

it's ok to break your weapon sequence for value
The 24 rotations
there are exactly 24 similar but unique 5-weapon-loop rotations
:

Main/Off hand weapons
rotations
Main/Off hand weapons
rotations

NOTE:
The Optimal rotation is the perfect rotation for any game generally, you'll just adjust it based on how the game is going
(Signiture combos are the efficient key triple combos in the rotation)
(i choose the best main and support weapons based on their position in the 5 weapon loop rotation)
(the names i put for the rotations are not official, only for me)

1- Starting/Default rotation:
|SMBSM|
calibrum severum
gravitum infernum crescendum
Main weapons ( - - )
support weapons ( - - )
description: this is the rotation you start with on Aphelios every game, has a strong early lane control
you lose some damage when you have severum but gains sustain and chasing/kiting

Advanced stuff

there is a way to play a "triple skip weapon rotation", for example:
crescendum gravitum
calibrum severum infernum

this rotation goes like this:

let's start with being in your hand, and the weapons in queue are in order - - -

the 1st sequence is: you drop and get in hand
you drop and get in hand
you drop and get in hand
now you drop and get back to

in summery keeping crescendum off hand while spending other weapons
then you repeat with gravitum being off hand instead

the 2nd sequence is: you drop and get in hand
you drop and get in hand
you drop and get in hand
now you drop and get back to

the idea here is that you are keeping in hand either of the 2 weapons you want at all times, but i made this specific rotation because gravitum is hard to get rid of and crescendum has the most dps in 1v1 situations

NOTE:
if you drop either gravitum or crescendum before dropping either of the rotation won't break but it'll make the sequence of different (try it in practice tool) (you should try everything in practice tool)

NOTE:
you can replace gravitum or crescendum in this order with any 2 weapons of your choice

-get a job
-get a life too
