Introduction
This is My Personal Guide to Lee Sin!
I have never looked at someone else's guide to play any champions before so this Guide may be Simular to a Different Guide. I Construct my Own Builds (apart from this one I had a little help from a friend ;P) and Play Style with all Champions in which I Play.
Never the Less these Builds have never failed me (Mainly the 2nd One) and hopefully will never fail you!
Note: This Guide is for Lane Lee Sin and may not work for Jungle Lee Sin.
Damage Dealer Build 1
Pros
- Early Game to Late Game Armor Penetration
(Helping with Dmg, Starting with around 21 Armor Penetration at Lvl 1)
- Armor For a Little Extra Sustainablity
(As Minions Hit Less and so do Physical Damage Champions)
- Cooldowns which help
Cons
- No Health Regen
(Could Replace the Quintessence Runes for Health Regen)
- Armor Runes may also not be needed
(Could Replace for Any Runes of your Choice that Benefits the Champion)
Defensive/Supportive Build 2 (My Personal Favourite)
Pros
- Nice Sustainablity in Lane due to the Health Regen
(The Health Regen you would get from a Rejuvenation Bead + More from Masteries)
- Early Game to Late Game Armor Penetration
(Helping with Dmg, Starting with around 21 Armor Penetration at Lvl 1)
- Armor For a Little Extra Sustainablity
(As Minions Hit Less and so do Physical Damage Champions)
- Magic Resist, for a little extra resistence against mages.
(And because it helps with the Passive)
Cons
- Not Much Cooldown Reduction
(You could replace the Magic Resist Runes)
- Health Regen Runes may not be Needed
(Could Replace for Armor Penetration Runes)
- Armor Runes may also not be needed
(Could Replace for Any Runes of your Choice that Benefits the Champion)

I start off with Doran's Blade. Once in Lane harass the enemy with Q whilst farming the minions with my auto attacks. Once I reach level 2 I get a rank in W and combo Q + W. In doing this I harass the enemy with Q whilst gaining my original positon back by using W on friendly Minion.
At level 3 I get a rank in my E. I use this to help me farm minions along with Combo'ing with my Partner. For example if my Partner decides to engage, them being a Melee Champion, I use my W to Dash onto my Ally, then use E on the enemy to slow them. If they manage to get out of my Partner's and my range, I use Q and dash onto the Enemy to Kill them.
By the time I have around 500 gold I tell my Partner I am going to recall for Avarice Blade. I buy my Avarice Blade and a few potions and a Sight Ward if I have money to spare.
~ Wards save lives ~
Once I return to lane, I ask if the partner wants to recall, if they do, play safely, whilst still getting as many minion kills as possible, if not continue the laning. Place the ward in a suitable location where ganks could occur.
~ If you happen to be in a Duo Lane against a Solo Lane either ask your partner to head into the Jungle or do it yourself, ensure that either YOU or your PARTNER can farm whilst being able to stop the enemy in the Solo Lane from farming. ~
Gank any lane that needs assistence by hiding in a brush, assuming they don't have wards then using Q twice to dash onto them, then slowing them with E.
In Team Fights
In Team Fights, try to focus any enemy that deems a threat to your team (Carries and enemy Assasins), use Q to close the gap and your E to slow them, then just damage them with your auto-attacks. If an enemy is near death and has a method of escape use your R on them.
If there are enemies chasing your Team's Carry, use your W to get to the Targetted Champion, then use your R at the enemy nearest to your team mate, try to angle it so that the enemy Champion flies into his allies. E could also be used if they are very close to your team mate to slow the enemy down.
By the time you have obtained your Frozen Mallet you consider what your team needs, more damage or someone who can take damage but tank just as well. I tend to go for my 2nd Build as to me it seems to work more effectively. This is due to the fact that I can engage teamfights as well as the Tank. My damage may be weaker compared to if I went full damage, but, it is still enough along with the ability of being able to tank the enemy if focused.
