Hi everyone, I'm Nami Caulfield, and this is my Guide. I have been playing Nami since Season 3, and I love her skills and lore! I main support since this time too and I love it, it's my fav role to play. I supported my way from Bronze IV to Platinum IV, and played some really good games until now.
Got into Platinum IV playing and .

I'm not the best Nami ever, but she is favorite champion and I hope this little guide help you!

II. Masteries (1/2)

Mastery Explanations

CUNNING MASTERY TREE

Tier 1 - 2 ♥ Picking over don't need explanations, since you don't farm or goes jungle, and you'll want to go warding. There's no need for you to pick , you won't be getting any blue or red buff, and is a really great mastery for support, it regens 20 health and 10 mana instantly and any potions/flasks/elixirs lasts 10% longer.

Tier 3 - 4 ♥ Picking over is really better because you'll get a really great mana regen with this mastery + runes, and you won't need the other mastery since you aren't the damage dealer of your team. is a must for any support, since you will get extra gold from minions and basic attacks, and with , you'll gain more 11 gold per basic attack.

Tier 5 - 6 ♥ Picking over is better, since you'll get 5% cooldown reduction, and that mastery increases your CDR cap to 45%. Building , , and will get you 45% cooldown reduction, which means 6 seconds in every skill, and 60 seconds in her ultimate. and aren't really good on her, but is a GREAT support mastery, since your heals will be 10% stronger, and it will increase your target armor and magic resistance by 15% for 3 seconds. In my opinion, one of the best changes in masteries.

RESOLVE MASTERY TREE

Tier 1 - 2 ♥ Picking over is way better, since you'll stay out range and you already have your heal ability, . You get 6% bonus armor and 6% bonus magic resistance, really good to survive, since you are squishy. You can choose between and . Pick if you want to roam or be really annoying, dominating the brush. is better if you are going to be poked with basic attacks, for example, against an enemy .

Tier 3 - 4 ♥ In my opinion, is better than , because you are really really really squishy and the extra hp you get is really helpful. gets you 15% reduced summoner spells's cooldown, you'll be able to flash more early and use exhaust more often, that will help you and your ADC to win trades. isn't a good mastery on , you won't be in range to get poked this hard.

Greater Quintessence of Ability Power and Greater Glyph of Ability Power: A better heal, more damage in skills and a better laning phase. I always pick these.
Greater Quintessence of Mana Regeneration and Greater Seal of Mana Regeneration: Without Mana Potion, AP supports don't have too much mana regen. This runes gives you a better laning phase, and even in team fights, you will have a good amount of mana to spam skills.
Greater Mark of Armor: Gives you more survivability, you aren't going to be bursted by the enemy carry. Always pick this one for any support.

IV. Pros/Cons

Nami is a great pick in solo queue. She have a really good amount of CC, with a knock up and revealing with , a great heal and damage with , slow in basic attacks with and engage/desengage with . Her ultimate knock up enemies, slow them for 2-4 seconds and if it hits allied champions, gaves them moviment speed bonus. Her passive, is great for running away or chasing enemies, since it gives a really good movement speed based on your ability power, which is doubled when touched by her ultimate. She really dominates bot lane when played right, and a really good can win almost every trade with enemy bot lane.

+ Squishy, needs good positioning in team fights
+ Slow skill animation in and

While is a really strong support, she is really hard too. By example, mastering her requires a lot of time, since her skills are slow to cast and your Ad Carry will trust in you to peel for him. She doesn't have any escape, she is really squishy and two of her skills are hard to hit. Her early mana regeneration is horrible, so mana regen runes will be needed, if you want to play her agressive.

V. Why this build?

Item Sequence

This item is awesome in any ap support! AP, Mana Regeneration, Gold and Health, wards and 15 gold when you hit an enemy with a basic attack ou skill.

A good amount of ability power, cooldown reduction and armor, plus a good passive/active that binds you to an ally and attacking or casting spells generates extra "Charges". At 100 Charges, causing any damage consumes them, increasing you and your ally's Ability Power by 20% and Critical Strike Chance by 50% for 8 seconds. Getting the active in a team fight is really good, since your carry will get so many critical strike chance.

Ability Power, CDR, Mana Regeneration and Movement Speed, and all your heals 15% Attack Speed and 30 magic damage on hit for 6 seconds. This item + charged will give you and your carry +20% AP, +50% Critical Strike Chance, and your carry you have +15% Attack Speed and 30 magic damage on hit + your , a great item combination.

Mana Regeneration, Magic Resistance and Cooldown Reduction. Mikael's Crucible active is really great in teamfights that your ADC or any ally is getting some CC and you need to save them. It also heals them for 150 + 10% of the target's maximum Health, so its a must have in any support.

Ability Power and Health, plus a slow that is really great when you use your in any enemy, or your . It also gives you a good damage for a better heal.

+10% Cooldown Reduction and reduces the cooldowns of Summoner Spells by 10%, better than any boot for , since you don't have any escape and you will need your . Also, this build grants you the 45% CDR!
