Hello there! As a lot of people dont care about this I will keep this short.
My name is Sascha, I play League since Season 4 and Im Hardstuck Gold. Im a Midlane Main and I play a lot of Akali. I write this Guide from my perspective, as Im no High Elo-Player this Guide wont be 100% correct so feel free to give some feedback!

Pros

+ Really fun to play + Great mobility + Good outplay potential + Really flexible playstyle + Good engage/disengage + High Damage

Cons

- High CC makes her useless - Hard to master - Hard to come back - Laning phase is really hard against ranged enemys

SUMMONER SPELLS - FLASH: Flash is essential for Akali. Without Flash you will be missing out on kills and you`re most likely going to die if you get ganked. IGNITE: If you want early kill pressure or if the enemy team has heavy healing then you should take Ignite. TP will be more usefull later in the game though. TELEPORT: Take TP if you`re playing Akali on Toplane or if you have a tough matchup on Midlane to maintain pressure. As I mentioned before, in higher Elos Akali-Players take TP almost every game.

PRECISION

Fleet Footwork has become the Standard Rune for Akali, it works well against Poke-Matchups. You can also take Conqueror if you`re going to be trading more and longer.

Persence of Mind is a must have rune for Akali, you need the Extra energy it gives especially for Teamfights if you want to kill multiple Targets.

This Rune works really well against Hard-CC if you`re not going to buy Mercs. at least take this Rune.

Coup de Grace works really good if you want to Assassinate your enemys. Take Cut Down if they enemy Team is full of Tanks. Take Last Stand if you`re playing Toplane (with Conqueror as Keystone) against sustain matchups.

PRECISION

Conqueror is easy to stack on Akali and you?ll get some insane healing. Take this into hard sustain lanes where you`re feeling confident.

Alacrity just works perfectly with Conqueror as it helps you stack Conqueror and gives more heeling during fights.

Last Stand goes really well combined with Conqueror but you could also take Coup de Grace, both Runes work really good with Akali.

DOMINATION

Run this into meele matchups where you trade easily, against squishy Teams or if you`re feeling confident in winning your lane. With Electrocute you`ll have really good burst dmg, you want to get a Lichbane as second Item to increase burst dmg.

Sudden Impact works really good on Akali, as you have a lot of dashes with your E and R, this Rune helps you to Assassinate your Enemys. You could also take Taste of Blood for some sustain.

Here you could take any of the three Runes but Eyeball Collection helps increasing your dmg Output in Lategame.

Here you want to take Ravenous Hunter as it gives you Spellvamp. With This Runeset/Buil you dont have that much sustain but this Rune helps a lot especially later into the game.

Trading lvl 1:
(AA) Five Point Strike Assassin's Mark Five Point Strike Assassin's Mark
Before lvl 3 this is your only trading option.

Trading lvl 3-5:
Shuriken Flip (AA) Shuriken Flip2 Five Point Strike (use Q Mid-Air) Assassin's Mark Twilight Shroud Five Point Strike Assassin's Mark
Use this combo when your enemy walks up on you.

You mainly what to trade when you hit Shuriken Flip dont "engage" with Twilight Shroud as you will exposed after its duration and you only have Shuriken Flip as disengage.

All in level 6:

Use this combo to dive the enemy.

Perfect Execution Shuriken Flip Assassin's Mark Shuriken Flip2 Assassin's Mark Five Point Strike Assassin's Mark Twilight Shroud Five Point Strike Perfect Execution2

This is the longer all in, you have to use Twilight Shroud after the first Five Point Strike you need the extra Energy for your second Five Point Strike.

1. If you`re facing from Blue-Side towards Red-Side and hit Five Point Strike at max Range it instantly progs Assassin's Mark
Keep this in mind if you want to get some free poke dmg.

2. Hitting Five Point Strike at max. range Slows your enemy.

3. Shuriken Flip activates your Passive with every cast. This means you can prog your passive two times.

4. You can cast abilities while casting the second Shuriken Flip.
The same goes for casting Perfect Execution.

5. You can use Shuriken Flip over a few big walls. Use this to get away from from enemys when they chase you. Test this in the practice tool before using in your ranked games ;)

Laning phase for Akali can be really hard and frustrating. There are a few things to keep in mind for a succesful Early Game.

If you have a ranged opponement then you want to keep distance between you and your enemy.
Try to cs with your Q as much as possible. Give up a few minions, its better then giving your enemy a kill.

When you hit lvl 3 you can start trading using one of the combos mentioned above.
You win most trades at lvl 3 but be careful about taking longer trades if you dont have Conqueror!

Level 6 is your second Powerspike. You can All-In on almost every Champ and secure a kill.

If you`re lane is getting freezed feel free to roam to your sidelanes, as you only get harassed and eventually killed if you stay o your lane.

Mid Game usually starts when the first Turret falls. After that you want to push Sidelanes, this can be either Top or Bot-Side this depends on how your Team Swaps/Rotates.
When you`re pushing a Sidelane you want to look for Solo-Kills as you can 1v1 almost everyone (as long as you`re not behind).

Teamfights:
When playing Akali you dont want to engage head on onto the enemy Team, like all Assassins you want to kill the enemy carry. You can do this in a lot of different ways, primary you want to flank the enemy Team, get behind them or just clean up after your Team engages.

In the Late-game stage of the Game you have to be really carefull, the enemys will by now all do a decent amount of dmg so if you get cc`ed you`re as good as dead.
Dont try to initiate a fight, you want to hit the backline from the enemy Team. Usually I just jump in with hit q/aa and instantly go into Zhonias, after Zhonias immediately place your Shroud and look to assassinate squishy targets with your second R-Dash
