Choose Champion Build:

  • LoL Champion: Kindred
Way of the Wolf (Tanky Caster)
  • LoL Champion: Kindred
    Way of the Lamb (ADC/DPS)
  • LoL Champion: Kindred
    Solo Lane

Intro

Hey people, I'm Seth also known as Iechsa and I play LoL for 4 years on the EUW servers.

I always wanted to create a guide but I stopped paying attention to the guide(s) when I didn't feel like playing the champion anymore. This is different now. I fell in love with Kindred, and that's because I think they are very strong, and I love the whole idea behind their lore. I saw people making sick plays with them, so I decided to give it a try and I'm currently mastery 5 with 29k points.

Kindred can solo lane too?!

Yes, sort of. Kindred has a problem getting stacks when they are in solo lane. If you do feel like playing them solo lane, please get mid lane. It's easy for them since they counter assassins like Zed and Talon. Also they can roam and get stacks.

I will focus on both Jungle and Solo lane (mid mostly) for this guide.

Runes and Masteries

For Jungle Runes I like to have these:

9x Flat AD reds: For the damage and clear speed
9x Flat armor yellows: Staying longer in the jungle
6x scaling CDR blues: Kinndred has high cooldowns, so these are a must have
3x scaling MR blues: Magic resist is always nice for most situations
3x AS Quints: For better clear speed and more damage with passive

For Lane Runes I like these:

9x Armor Pen reds: Kindred her base damage is low, so armor pen is an important stat since it also scales with the passive.
9x flat armor yellows: Less damage from minions and champion basic attacks
6x Scaling CDR blues: Same reason as jungle runes
3x Flat MR blues: Because sometimes an all in APC like Annie can burst you down on level 2 or 3. These are nice for aggressive early too.
3x AS/Armor Pen Quints: You can either go for armor penetration or AS. Attackspeed gives you better dps, and Armorpen gives you better damage in early/mid game. Depending on match up you can take what ever suits you best :).
