Renekton is a melee DPS champion who uses fury instead of mana and deals high numbers of damage to his enemies and he's very fun to play.In this build I'm going to show you how I play Renekton as an offtank.I prefer playing as an offtank Renekton because he's pretty squishy and gets focused much in teamfights when using a DPS build.So,let's start!

Rune builds are personal preference.You can build whatever fits your playstyle!

Greater Mark of Desolation

I use Armor Pen marks to ensure maximum damage both early/late game.



I prefer using flat Armor seals to increase my early game survivability.You can also use Armor per level seals if you want to increase your late game survivability but i don't like this idea much.



Same as seals.I prefer using flat MR glyphs to increase my early game survivability.You can also use MR per lvl.

Greater Quintessence of Desolation

Same as marks.

In this build i follow a hybrid 14/16/0 build to increase both damage and survivability.You can also follow a 21/9/0 build picking instead of ghost but this will decrease your survivability.Feel free to test your own mastery builds if you want as it's always personal preference.

I prefer starting with a and 3 to increase my sustainability and dominate my lane.You can also start with a to increase your survivability.

After recalling to base buy to increase your hit points and slow enemies that try to escape or buy to increase your AD and get some CDR.These 2 items result in a or later on.

After and get and now your CDR is 30%!

Then try to get as soon as possible to increase your survivability more and your farm.Then get right after to increase your MR and help you in teamfights.

Later you can select one of these items(It's situational)

Final Items:

I max first to increase my farm,damage numbers and healing gained.Then I max with a point in
at level 3 to increase my survival and stun my opponents.And then max .ALWAYS remember to level up your ultimate at levels 6,11,16.

If you want to harrass your opponents and deal high numbers of damage try to open with while your fury is 50+ since it doesn't consume your fury.Then use for higher stun and damage,then use and then use Dice to get in front of your target or get back to avoid getting damage.

I like using and . for greater 1v1 early game and to escape or chase down enemies since we have as 'mini'- .

You can also use instead of for even better 1v1 with .

is a good pick too since it increases your sustainability and your ganking potentional in combo with Sight Ward because in most cases people put wards.

can be useful too since it removes all CC from you and decreases the duration of subsequent CC by 65% for 3 seconds but I don't recommend it.


Summoner Spells to avoid:

can be useful early game but you don't need it.

Bah..

No mana,no needed.

Let support or roamer get it.

I don't recommend it.

-Very squishy

-Get's focused in teamfights
-Small numbers of damage

In teamfights use first and use to shred your opponents' armor and then use in the middle of the fight.After use on the squishiest champion to avoid you team getting too much damage from their carries.

can be successful both ranked/normal play.If played correctly he can become a nightmare to his opponents,because hes very strong,and he's a crocodile.

I recommend you get solo top lane because can dominate solo top lane and champions with less sustainability in lane.Dont' forget that farm is more needed so try to last hit more often because your farm will help you later on.

His laning phase is extremely strong early game and his farming potentional makes you get items mroe often.
