Hi, my name is Thumb and I am an ADC turned riven main. I originally wrote this guide a very long time ago but after taking a long break from league my guide slowly died away and never got updated. I will be trying my best to maintain this guide and keep it up to date in the future. ATM this guide is still being completed to match the current patch, currently use this guide for the build section as the others will be added later thanks! |

Riven in the current meta (season 11) is not an "overpowered" pick. However she has been benefiting from the increased usage in items such as goredrinker. Alongside this, she is easily one of the funnest champions in the entire game with one of the highest skill ceiling begging for outplays! Riven has no built in sustain and low hp regen making learning and executing her combos even more important.

WHY TELEPORT?
Teleport is a great summoner spell for top laners it provides crazy map pressure and to support other lanes when ganked or even your laner tp'ing. Ignite is great for kill pressure in lane in the early game which Riven loves. Flash is a key spell for almost every champ in every roll. It provides an engage and disengage Riven can use Flash to pull off various combos making it an essential spell on Riven
