Hi guys. I've been play LoL since mid 2011, and I finally picked up Kha'Zix. He is a flexible champion that can play several roles from Top to Jungle. This guide covers how to play Kha'Zix Solo Top and Jungle. I have put a lot of hard work into this guide and I would appreciate it if you give me feedback. Thank-you Summoners, and enjoy.

Suitable Summoner Spells

I like to take this over ghost, although it is entirely up to you.

You could take this as a replacement for flash.

Only take this when you are jungling.

I like to take this over exhaust to finish the kill.

You could take this as a replacement for flash.

This is a spell you could take depending on your play style.

Never Take Any of These!

Even though you are mana dependent, there are better spells to take.

This should be only for the AD Carry...

You should take this on the Aram Map

This build doesn't focus on attack speed and AP.

I like to go 9/21/0 if you are up against a hard match and also because you are a soft solo top. When my lane is an easy match-up, I go 21/9/0. You can choose either depending on your play style.

You can choose your runes depending on the situation. I sometime take armor penetration, flat armor, flat magic resist, and attack damage, although you could also go flat attack damage, armor, cooldown reduction, and attack damage.

Passive: Unseen Threat: When Kha'Zix is not visible to the enemy team, he gains Unseen Threat. Unseen Threat causes his next basic attack against an enemy champion or Evolved Void Spike to deal 15 / 20 / 25 / 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 / 75 / 85 / 95 / 110 / 125 / 140 / 155 / 170 / 185 / 200 / 220 (+ 50% AP) bonus magic damage and slow by 35% for 2 seconds.

Unseen Threat lasts until consumed and has no internal cooldown.

This is one of the best passives in League for those 1v1 fights and ganks. Run into the brush, poke, and rinse/repeat.

Q: Taste Their Fear: PASSIVE: Kha'Zix marks enemies that are isolated from their allies.
ACTIVE: Kha'Zix slashes, dealing physical damage to a single target. Damage against isolated targets is significantly increased.

Try to seperate your enemies from everything else so your Q will do more damage.

W: Void Spike: ACTIVE: Kha'Zix fires spikes in a line that explode on contact with an enemy, dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies. Kha'Zix is healed if he is within the explosion radius.

This gives you the sustain needed for Solo Top from the heal.

E: Leap: ACTIVE: Kha'Zix leaps to an area, dealing physical damage to nearby enemies on arrival.

This is a great gap closer/escape ability. Use it wisely because of the long cooldown!

R: Void Assault: PASSIVE: Each rank of Void Assault allows Kha'Zix to evolve one of his abilities, granting it an additional effect.
ACTIVE: Kha'Zix enters stealth for 1 second, gaining 40% bonus movement speed. Entering stealth grants Unseen Threat. Void Assault can be cast a second time within 10 seconds at no cost.

This ability makes you so flexible from the upgrades and is good for escaping.

Each individual evolution is unique in their own way, as for they are situational.

• If you have an easy lane, grab your q for ultimate harassing.
• If you are having trouble and are getting zoned, grab you w for last hits and long range poke.
• If you are getting ganked a lot, grab a ward and evolve you e to escape. Also take this if you are jungling for good ganks.
• If you need those close escapes, evolve your r.

Note: I try to make this guide as flexible as possible for you guys.

You will get a quest in the game if you are against a Rengar. Trust me, you will win it, unless he is super fed. If he jumps on you just Q, W, E, Q Rinse/Repeat. It's as simple as that.

I don't suggest picking Kha'Zix straight away as first pick, because he should be played as a situational counter. Kha'Zix is a great assassin, that is good against squishies. His Q can rip through them if built and played right.

Jungle Kha'Zix would be a better choice than going Top Kha'Zix if there is a really tanky champion top. Kha'Zix is a burst DPS champion, so use him to the fullest. His ganks are great from the slow on is passive and his Leap. He clears at a decent time. I suggest taking out the small camp minions before taking out the big one so your Taste Their Fear can deal bonus damage.
