Introduction
Pros
Cons
- Strong damage
- Strong ganks
- Extremely hard to kill
- Quick clear the entire game
- Strong at all phases of the game
- Can team Fight (and should you are the tank)
- Can splitpush
- Can Burst squishies
Cons
- There are more tanky champions
- Stacking devourer can be tricky to do if you are getting counter jungled
- Shaco is a hard champion to learn, but if you are already a shaco main ignore this
- Can be hard to recover
- People like to try to shut you down early to prevent you from being a late game threat
- Being a tank makes it slightly harder to carry
Explaining some of the choices I made here. Attack damage marks work really well, not too many other runes are worth taking on the clone at the moment. For seals/yellow's I prefer the scaling health, it helps get you the passive on warmog's earlier in the game which is nice. While flat armor yellow's are also viable, there are a lot of armor pen items and they will delay the time until the warmog's passive. I see a few options that would be good here, either Scaling cooldown reduction, scaling magic resistance or flat magic resistance. Pick these depending on the enemy team composition, otherwise just take scaling magic resistance. For quints either take attack speed quints, armor quints or armor pen quints.
if you plan on taking Warmog's then I strongly recommend maxing the resolve tree to get
Perseverance and
Bond of Stone
. The only thing that may be worth changing is
Swiftness
to
Legendary Guardian
, if they have limited CC and you plan on team fighting (you should you are a tank) then take Legendary, if you plan on carrying and they have a lot of CC then take Swiftness.
In the ferocity tree make sure you take
Oppressor
, you slow people with both e active and passive, which means you will have 2.5% bonus damage as long as your e is up.
Maxing Ferocity (Situational I advice against this for the build)
----
if you max ferocity the only keystone mastery you should be taking is
Warlord's Bloodlust
. It works with the guaranteed crit from your q. I would advice going into the Resolve tree with this build.

You have a few options for sequence order.
What everyone does most is:
The one I prefer is (This helps me clear early and get first blood):
This is a spin off of what I do, I would recommend one of the first 2.

Take either
Ignite and
Smite or
Exhaustand
Smite.
Why not
Flash? You are rarely going to use flash as Shaco. The only use it gets is to outplay but exhaust and ignite both help secure kills and are generally better. Flash has a 5 minute cooldown, your Q has a 10 Second cooldown and makes you invisible.

Start Blue Side:
Go to the enemy krugs. Place 2 boxes starting at 41-43 seconds. Place 2 boxes out of agro range at red. Take krugs with
Smite, take the red and throw a box over the wall between red and raptors. Go take the scuttle crab. Take your blue, raptors, red, krugs, then the other scuttle. Once you have 1000 gold go back and buy items.
Start red side:
Go to the enemy gromp. Place 2 boxes starting at 41-43 seconds. Place 2 boxes out of agro range at blue. Take gromp with
Smite, take the blue and throw a box in blue bush as close to the entry as you can. Go take the scuttle crab. Take your red, raptors, wolves, blue, gromp then the other scuttle. Once you have 1000 gold go back and buy items.
Stacking devourer:
Take dragon and rift herald as you can, they are 5 stacks each
Take scuttle crabs as soon as they are up, they provide vision and are 2 stacks.
Gank lanes. Got a kill? Cool that was a stack! Got an assist? Cool that was also a stack.
Take both your own and enemy camps as they come up, they are worth 1 stack each.
Try to get devourer sated as soon as you can (30 stacks). You should have it before 20 minutes. I aim for around 16 minutes, but have gotten it as soon as 13 and as late as 22.
