I have right now Silver. I'm maining Shen for over a year i have 250,000+ mastery points on him.

I'm streaming on Twitch somethimes.

After this buffs what he get in 25.09 its surprisely stronger in early game to the end. You can have a lot of fun playing him.
Among the secretive, Ionian warriors known as the Kinkou, Shen serves as their leader, the Eye of Twilight. He longs to remain free from the confusion of emotion, prejudice, and ego, and walks the unseen path of dispassionate judgment between the spirit realm and the physical world. Tasked with enforcing the equilibrium between them, Shen wields blades of steel and arcane energy against any who would threaten it.

Ki Barrier [Passive]
Innate: After completing an ability's effects, Shen grants himself a shield for 47 – 120 (based on level) (+ 13% bonus health) for 2.5 seconds. If Shen affects at least one other champion with an ability, Ki Barrier's cooldown is reduced by 4 – 8 (based on level) seconds.
Shen manifests a Spirit Blade that he can control with Twilight Assault and Spirit's Refuge.
Twilight Assault [Q]
Active: Shen recalls his Spirit Blade to his location. Enemy champions hit are slowed for the next 2 seconds while moving away from Shen.
Once it arrives, Shen empowers his next 3 basic attacks within 8 seconds to gain 75 bonus range and deal bonus magic damage. Against structures, only the flat damage portion is applied.
If the Spirit Blade hit at least one enemy champion during the travel, the empowerment is enhanced to deal increased bonus magic damage and additionally grant Shen 50% bonus attack speed.
Empowered attacks against monsters deal 100% bonus damage, but their total damage is capped.
Spirit's Refuge [W]
Active: Shen primes his Spirit Blade, creating an area around it. After 2 seconds, or when Shen or an allied champion enters the area, the Spirit Blade generates a protective zone for 1.75 seconds, blocking all non-turret basic attacks that hit Shen or allied champions in the area.
Shadow Dash [E]
Passive: Dealing damage with Twilight Assault or Shadow Dash restores 30 / 40 / 50 (based on level) energy.
Stand United [R]
Active: Shen focuses his will, channeling for 3 seconds and granting the target allied champion a shield for 5 seconds at the time of cast, increased by 0% – 60% (based on target's missing health).
Upon completing the channel, Shen and his Spirit Blade blink to the target ally's location, placed between them and the nearest enemy champion. Shen also destroys any projectiles targeting him at the time of completion.



RESOLVE

Why Grasp of the Undying? He is stacking. Entering combat generates 1 stack every second for the next 3 seconds, refreshing the duration with each instance of combat and stacking the effect up to 4 times. At maximum stacks, your next basic attack on-hit within 5 seconds against an enemy champion consumes all stacks to deal bonus magic damage equal to [3.5% for Melee | 2.1% for Ranged] of your maximum health, heal you for [1.3% for Melee | 0.78% for Ranged] of your maximum health, and permanently grant [5 for Melee | 3 for Ranged] bonus health.

Shield Bash is perfect whenever you gain a shield, your next basic attack against an enemy champion is empowered to deal 5−30 (+2.5% bonus health) (+15% shield amount) bonus adaptive damage (depending on level). The empowered attack lasts for up to 2 seconds after the shield expires.

Overgrowth permanently gain 3 maximum health for every 8 monsters or enemy minions that die near you. At 120 minion and monster deaths, also gain an additional +3.5% max health.


DOMINATION

Cheap Shot damaging champions with impaired movement or actions deals 10-45 bonus true damage (based on level). Activates on damage occurring after the impairment.
Gain 6 (+5 per Bounty Hunter stack) ultimate haste, up to 31 at 5 stacks.
Bounty Hunter stacks are earned the first time you get a takedown on each enemy champion.

Sunfire Aegis > Survivability in longer fights at the beginning from AD champions.
UNIQUE Passive: Taking or dealing damage activates this passive for 3 seconds. Deal 20 (+1% bonus health) magic damage every second to enemies within 325 (+100% bonus size) units, with the damage being increased by 50% against minions and monsters. This executes minions that would be killed by one more tick of damage.

Hollow Radiance > Survivability in longer fights at the beginning from AP champions.
UNIQUE Passive: Taking or dealing damage activates this passive for 3 seconds. Deal 15 (+1% bonus health) magic damage every second to enemies within 325 (+100% bonus size) units, with the damage being increased by 25% against minions and monsters. This executes minions that would be killed by one more tick of damage.
UNIQUE Passive: Killing an enemy unit deals 30 (+2% bonus health) magic damage to enemies near them.

Berserker's Greaves > Reduced AD Damage
UNIQUE Passive: Reduces incoming damage from all basic attacks by 10% (excluding turret attacks).

Mercury's Treads > Tenacity
Tenacity and movement speed bonus are beneficial for champions that need to flee from a situation or chase down champions. Effects of crowd control that impair movement will be much shorter to allow for both conditions to succeed.

Why this setup? Thornmail is good for you know "healing" so can be a support like Soraka, Yuumi, Lulu, Nami etc. even a topplaner like Sett, Mordekaiser etc. Not only healing, psychical damage like Urgot or Illaoi.

Thank you so much for reading! I know is basic basics but i want you to know he is a perfect champion to climbing. If you have hard matchup don't worry, try to farm and get xp. Place Q near caster minion and click Q when they want to hit you to get shield and importat! 3 basic attacks within 8 seconds to gain 75 bonus range and deal bonus magic damage. Use your skills with caution because you have energy, namely 400 so 1 combo E > Q > AA > W > AA and you have a maximum of one ability. Byee!
