Champion Build Guide
So, you wanna play Sivir mid?
Do you like boomerangs? Do you like bouncing around? Do you like money? Do you like being a pretty princess who has a tough side? Do you like unconventional picks? If so, Sivir mid may be for you.
As anyone who has every played in the bot lane should know, ADC's are pretty awesome. Some have dashes, some have utility, and all of them have lots of damage. The question is, why do we only play them in the bot lane? Because the monkey overlords of years past said we should? Because they actually are better bot lane? Because we are all mindless chimps that just copy what high elo players do? NO! DON'T LET THE MAN TELL YOU WHERE YOU CAN AND CANNOT PLAY YOUR CHAMPIONS!!! Let us, everyone who likes marksmen or spicy picks, RISE UP AND CREATE OUR OWN META!
So, why Sivir of all adcs? When I was an adc main, I found tons of success on this glorious goddess. She had damage, waveclear, and most importantly, had a way to keep my supports from inting. Every soloqueue adc knows that when your support picks sona and gets hooked, you're kinda doomed. But with sivir, you could make up for a bad support by blocking abilities and shoving the wave, leaving the support's only way to die as legitmately running into the enemy tower. So since Sivir could 2v1 lanes in the bot lane, it only seemed natural to play her in a 1v1 lane.
So, again, WHY SIVIR??? Well, Sivir is a relatively safe adc, with the spell shield, who can constantly keep midlane shoved so the jungler can feel safer doing whatever they want. You scale well, and are beneficial to pretty much every champion in the game with your movespeed ult. She's really good into picks that have telegraphed CC (lux, veigar), or picks that are weak to being shoved in (kassadin). Plus, shes the best champ ever <3
She's at least worth a try. I've played her in several gold games, and a high plat game in the mid lane, and am so far undefeated on it. If you were ever a sivir main, or need an AD champ with waveclear for mid, consider her. She's easy and stressfree :)
