Hi i'm Zenox and i want to learn Zoe and be very good with her and want to share my experience with you all At this time iam a Silver / Gold player on the EUW Server OP.GG: http://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=zenoxriven In this Guide i want to show you how to play Zoe and which Items and Runes i prefer and i also want to show you why you should play Smite Zoe mid. My English is not that good because iam 15years old and from Germany, iam really sorry :C but i hope you understand me and learn something.

As Zoe you want to Skill yourQ Paddle Star first because this Ability is your main Damage Spell, the second ability you skill is your E Sleepy Trouble Bubble because you want the cooldown reduction if you hit your E Sleepy Trouble Bubble and as the third Spell you skill your W Spell Thief, everytime you can Skill your R Portal Jump just do it

The main tree you pick is the Sorcery tree

The Keystone is Arcane Comet, Zoe is a good user of the keystone because her Q Paddle Star and her E Sleepy Trouble Bubble make Arcane Comet easy to land.

The Second rune in the Sorcery tree is Manaflow Band because you can farm more with your abilitys as Zoe because you get mana refunded

The Third rune in the Sorcery tree is Celerity because your W Spell Thief gives you Bonus movement speed which let u deal more Damage

The last rune in the Sorcery tree is Scorch to burn your enemy to get a better laning phase, falls of later

The Second tree is the Resolve tree

The first rune in the Resolve tree is Unflinching because Zoe is casting much summoner spells and the bonus tenacity and the slow resistance are very helpfull

The second rune in the Resolve tree is Conditioning because you wont build much Sustain Items as Zoe and you are strong in the midgame thats why we need this rune for some sustain

Pros

+ Great synergy with Lich Bane + Outplay potential + AoE damage on Q Paddle Star + Insane burst damage

Zoe is a very strong burst mage which is able to 1v5 the enemy team if Zoe is used right, she can be very usefull in teamfights with her E Sleepy Trouble Bubble Paddle Star

Cons

- Very skillshot dependet - minions can block your skillshots - easy to dodge her Q Paddle Star - Hard to use her R Portal Jump

You can counter Zoe very easy if you stay behind your Minions because her abilitys cant go throught units and Zoe dont have much sustain so she can get easy killed if an assassin like Rengar or Kha'Zix all in her.

Pros

+ Great synergy with Lich Bane, Skirmisher's Sabre - Runic Echoes and Passive More Sparkles! You get Bonus Damage after you used an Ability from Lich Bane and your Passive More Sparkles! but if you Smite the enemy he also get Bonus True Damage from your Autoattacks.

+ You can kill the minions which drop summonerspells with your Smite + If you use your Smite you activate your W Spell Thief | You can stack Smite 2 Times and can use both between 15seconds cooldown to proc your W Spell Thief if you need it + You are able to Counter-Jungle and put the Enemy Jungler Behind + If you use your Smite with Skirmisher's Sabre on an enemy you are marking him for 4 seconds and he deals 20% less damage

Zoe should work good with Skirmisher's Sabre because she get Sustain for a few seconds, deals true damage with her autoattacks and is able to farm more by stealing the enemy camps.

Cons

- Very skillshot dependet - You cant take a normal Summoner spell like Ignite, Ghost, Exhaust ...

But thats not a big problem because you can take Summoner spells and active Items with your W Spell Thief

Q: What Summoner Spells should I take?

A: You should pick Flash everytime because you can make usefull combos with Zoe and her Flash and the second reason is Zoe has no spell to escape. I prefer to pick Smite on Zoe because you can use your Smite to activate your W Spell Thief and you can pick Skirmisher's Sabre - Runic Echoes for the Damage reducing and you get Bonus True Damage on your Auto-Attacks which works perfect with Lich Bane and your Passive More Sparkles! If you dont want to go Flash and Smite you can play Ignite against enemys like Vladimir, Volibear or Dr. Mundo. You can pick Barrier against high Burst Damage Champs like Syndra, Zed and Zoe You should pick Exhaust if you play against Assassins / Bruiser like Talon or Yasuo Cleanse is a good option against Twisted Fate if he use his Gold Card or against Ahri if she use her E Charm You can pick Heal if you want to help your team in teamfights or in bad situations Ghost is a good option if you want to all in your enemy and chase him (much easyer to land your Q Paddle Star) Teleport is a Summoner Spell you should only pick if you now how to use it for your Team and its good if you want to get the most possible farm in the earlygame because you can Teleport to your Lane
