Introduction
I have played this game since beta, and fell in love with the rift at first sight. Been playing in and out of master this season and played in a few tournaments, like ragnarok.
Uhm, what more? Yeah! I like memes. ****s out for harambeeksde. I mean, where do they come up with all this original and funny stuff?? L0lz!
On occasion i like to play wierd builds on wierds champs, like in this case:

This is my first atempt at a guide, so please be gentle with me lads :) I will be continously working on this guide as i have more free time, so dont worry if there is a panel missing, i will fill it up soon enough.
here we go :D

I made this cdr page because i dont like

Now this is where things get interesting. First of i'd like to start with the notable tiers.
Savagery and
Wanderer
doesnt really matter, just pick the one you feel more comfortable with.
Assassin
is easily the best choice here because you are playing a solo lane.
As mentioned earlier, we are a spell flinging magus thus we need cdr.
Intelligence
is a must have.
So.... why
Stormraider's Surge
instead of
Thunderlord's Decree
or
Deathfire Touch
you might so hastily proclaim?
I have found
Stormraider's Surge
to work as an escape and zoning technique. Let me explain:
You can escape early ganks by simply Q and R on a full hp jungler/mid and you will proc the effect, easily running to the safety of your own turret. Safe from the mean slows and premature death.
Now i could argue that it could be worth to specialise in
Piercing Thoughts
, in the ferocity tree. But i simple find the utility
Stormraider's Surge
so much more usefull. If you wish to use it offensive, just proc it, run up close to your enemy and throw that extra spell that you would never been able to cast if you had specialised in ferocity.

The most common mistake i see veigar players do is to build
Tear of the Goddess. Not only is it way to slow, it gives way to much mana. You can easily manage the 400 extra mana you get from
Rod of Ages.
You want to powerspike and be able to kill enemies who dont respect you (not building mr) as fast as possible. This is why you dont build tear.
Now to what makes the core of the build, the one and only....
Zz'Rot Portal. OH BOY I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN. This item right here... Its
B-E-A-U-T-I-FULL.
Zz'Rot Portal will be used to tank spells, catch up to people, splitpush while not there and lastly making fat sums of gold.
One trick i love to do is to put it out at dragon and baron fights for the 20% extra movement speed.
Its also an object that blocks pathing so you can narrow down paths and make easier zones with it.
As veigar naturally get massive amounts of ap, its okay that you build this item. You wont even notice a difference in your dmg, but oh boy will you feel like a raid boss with this tankyness and movement speed.
Not to mention that this item finds its way in like so many pro-player builds because of its flat-out brokeness. Is that even a word? Brokeness? In this case it is. Hail
Zz'Rot Portal, may your reign be long and prosperous.
